  13. I got the Cessna 172 Float plane kit by MiniCraft that I've been eyein' for awhile. Wish that I would have taken a ride on a floatplane last summer when I was in Alaska.
  14. My grandson come over today for awhile, and the first thing he noticed was that the Lionel train set was no longer in the living room. Guess he'll have to wait 'til after Thanksgiving when I set it up around our Christmas tree again. Wish I could've taken him to the hobby shop with me today, but he's only 16 1/2 months old.
  15. Wow, I would never guess that there would be so much involved, however it does make sense.
  16. Thanks for the info James, I'll be lookin' for it.
  17. That kit is right "up your alley" Kennyboy. LOL!
  18. I'm in this hobby today for a few reasons, the first is carried over from when I was building models back in the 50's and so on. Then I'm also a car person, which I picked up on my own, I also get satisfaction when completing a model car kit and putting it in my display case, and of course the camaraderie that comes with meeting other builders and sharing ideas over the many years.
  19. YES it will appear darker, as that's a "given."
  20. VERY nice build on that Camaro, very nice.
  21. I've been in your shoes several years ago when my mom passed away. She had a three bedroom apartment and two of the bedrooms were LOADED with stuff, a lot of it brand spankin' new. Luckily I had two cousins to help me out and we got the apartment completely emptied in five weeks. We donated a lot to charity and also gave a lot to a resale shop owner. It was a "big job."
  22. Check in Model Building Questions & Answers for help.
  23. I'm with ya on that one Harry.
