There is another model building forum where one of the mottos is "The goal is completion and NOT perfection." I am trying to adopt that as my mantra otherwise I get frustrated with little things and get nothing built. Working on the 48 Ford coupe and I keep repeating this to myself as I go so that I may get a model completed sometime in the next year.

Monogram 1/24 1930 Coupe. Pretty common. 1/25 - none that I know of.

Looked at the cover of this issue at a vendors booth at Motor City NNL 7 but put it back. Mine should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks so I'll enjoy it then. Cover looked really cool though....

I also attempted this project a number of years ago. Here's a photo of the model that was signed by the cast members at a taping in Toronto. Funny story. When I built the Possum Van I did not realize until too late that the real Possum van was a maxivan (extended). So my model was wrong as the van appeared in the series. About a year after I built it the original Possum Van was destroyed (I think it wore out from being beat up so much). The replacements included a regular wheelbase van so then my model became correct.
