  1. You're a brave man George! Taking your life in your hands for your hobby.
  2. Some nice pics there Mr Eh?! Thanks for sharing the weekend and the pics! Looking forward to the next road trip.
  3. Very nice! Love DTM cars! And taking pictures in the rain seems appropriate. They do run in the rain unlike Nascar. Great work!
  4. Wow! That really does look period correct. Very, very nice model.
  5. There is another model building forum where one of the mottos is "The goal is completion and NOT perfection." I am trying to adopt that as my mantra otherwise I get frustrated with little things and get nothing built. Working on the 48 Ford coupe and I keep repeating this to myself as I go so that I may get a model completed sometime in the next year.
  6. Monogram 1/24 1930 Coupe. Pretty common. 1/25 - none that I know of.
  7. It was great meeting you Bob. Happy to visit with Pat. And was good seeing the fellows from the DRAG Group including JeffB and Kris and also picked stuff up from Scale Modeling by Chris. Also had a chance to see Tom Carter and Grand daughter. Great Show! Great weekend! Here are some pics from the show. http://public.fotki....tor-city-nnl-7/
  8. It'sa Bugatti! Whadiwin? oh wait... Seriously as Skip said there are so many great models of these out there it's really hard to tell. The harder I stare at it the more I think real but I can't really say why....
  9. Looked at the cover of this issue at a vendors booth at Motor City NNL 7 but put it back. Mine should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks so I'll enjoy it then. Cover looked really cool though....
  10. Wow! Less than a week away! Still hoping the weather holds to make this trip. Looking forward to see board members there.
  11. Big Band. Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway, Gene Krupa, Glen Miller etc and the new crop like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Bill Elliott Swing Orchestra, Squirrel Nut Zippers etc.
  12. The island of Dr Moreau? Now that explains a lot......
  13. Sorry but the drive is a little too long for me. Have heard it's a great show though. Look forward to seeing some pics later.
  14. Great to see you back Ismael. I always looked forward to your builds. Hadn't realized it's been 3 years since we've last viewed your posts. I'm sure you will regain your abilities quickly. Build on!
  15. Welcome John. A 32 deuce and a Ligier eh? Obviously you cover all ends of the automotive spectrum. Look forward to seeing your builds.
  16. Saw this trike in person at a contest this past weekend. Great work especially with the different metallic sheens. It is one sharp trike!
  17. Wow! What a great concept! That's a great piece of model building. Thanks for sharing Bi-Polar with us.
  18. Good work Nick! Was happy to see you picking up hardware at the Ajax show. Much improvement in the past year.
  19. The Eliminator from the ZZ Top vids......
  20. I also attempted this project a number of years ago. Here's a photo of the model that was signed by the cast members at a taping in Toronto. Funny story. When I built the Possum Van I did not realize until too late that the real Possum van was a maxivan (extended). So my model was wrong as the van appeared in the series. About a year after I built it the original Possum Van was destroyed (I think it wore out from being beat up so much). The replacements included a regular wheelbase van so then my model became correct.
  21. Wow! Nice job on that ambulance.
  22. Nice pair of Subes. Nice clean workmanship. Very nice. I think I am partial to the blue but they're both great.
  23. Ooooh! Very nice Renault. Don't see them often but they build up very nicely. You did a great with this one Aaron. Thanks for sharing.
  24. That's one very cool rally car. Great work on the Fiat!
  25. Really hoping the weather holds to be able to attend this show. Been wanting to go since they started but there has always been something either weather or other commitments.
