You know I like phantom cars of all kinds but for some reason I don't like the phantom convertible Superbird. I guess I feel the aero stuff just doesn't work without the fastback roof. It is a beautifully restored/modified car though.
Wow! Sweet little Nova! It really has the sleeper look perfectly! I can see some unsuspecting dude in a Roadrunner getting his doors blown off because he mistakenly thought that was a 6 cyl. car. Very cool and period correct.
I'm afraid I'm like Boreham. Many bought - none completed. That said I have spent more time working at them in the past 6 months than I have in the past 5 years so I am confident that 2012 will see at least one completed model roll out of Rolling Sands Shop.
Austin, I don't think the thinner for Tamiya's acrylic jar paint will affect the Tamiya spray paint once it's cured. If possible try an experiment on a spare body or left over parts and see what happens.
Oooohhh! Missed the driver when I voted. I thought it looked like a model on a table with the background photoshopped in. But the driver could be photo trickery too. That Harry is a crafty one! So to save face I'm sticking with model....
With the amount of work you do on each model, I would say that is an impressive year's worth of work. Great Job Peter! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Cool! Thanks for the story on the truck. I look forward to seeing more pics of it as your restoration progresses. Are you on any of the Model A boards?
That's a sweet AA chassis, Danno! Is this where you're currently at or is this an old picture and there is now a whole truck? Would love to see more pics of it.
Ken, I believe that post was sarcasm. No matter what we post here that will be the 5 kits we keep getting. Of course the OP could correct my assumption.
