  1. I'm still trying to decide. I keep looking at the door lines thinking they don't look deep(?) enough.
  2. Your Bat is looking mighty fine so far. I really like what you've done with the underside as far as metallizing the driveline & exhaust. I was picturing something like what you've done myself for my Bat. Thanks for sharing this WIP.
  3. Hey Jason! That's a great little Scion! Like the colour and graphics. I've been playing with one of those in my stash. Gotta get to it. Thanks for the inspiration.
  4. Hey Dave! Great Ferrari! Nice clean build and it is indeed a great boulevard cruiser.
  5. Now wouldn't that be a cool article for the magazine. Hey Gregg! You have any Nascar connections?
  6. Wow! Excellent project and great results. If the pics had been in black and white they might have been from back in the day.
  7. I'm thinking model - paper model!
  8. Wow! That sure doesn't look toy like now. Job well done sir.
  9. Wow! I second that on the paint job! That's one kewl little tudor.
  10. Don't know if it's Cal Look or German touring look but either way it's one fine Beetle. Great work!
  11. That's a cool little hot rod Model A Woody! I like it a lot. Just missing the surf boards.
  12. Oh Yeah! I really like it! That is a really cool rally car and a nice clean build. Job well done Cruz.
  13. I started to write that they were hot with Hollywood A-listers like the Rat Pack but after checking referrences I find out it was a car called the Dual Ghia that had been popular at the time. Similar look but Ghia was perhaps sleeker. I have been a fan of Facel Vega since a young age after picking up a book called Cars in Profile published in 1974 and one of the cars profiled was the Vega. I had never heard of it but thought is was a very handsome car. Also featured in this book are the McLaren M8 series, the 4 1/2 litre Bentley, the Formula 1 Matra Fords, The Jaguar D Type and the Rolls-Royce Phantom II.
  14. That's a mean lookin' Merc! Good job. Can almost hear it rumble.
  15. That is a super sharp little racin' Ferrari! Nice save on that one.
  16. I love it! It's such a simple concept yet it's so different. To me it certainly has a gotcha factor. Would love to take that one for a brisk drive! Thanks for posting more pics of it Bob.
  17. I have to second this sentiment. It is a really cool concept and it turned out beautifully. Would also love to see more pics of it.
  18. That's a nice clean build of an all time great F1 car! Great build Curt!
  19. That's great! Especially when it's free! I'm excited as I just got issue 157 in the mail today. Great contest issue.
  20. Somehow I can just picture Dr Cranky's head on that spider.... and I honestly mean that in the nicest possible way.
  21. Hey! Thanks Jordan! I always wondered why that little red x kept floating around on each thread line. You learn something new every day.
  22. Andy, That turned out really clean for the first build in 10 years. Job well done!
  23. That is really cool Dr Cranky. AK Interactive is really big in the armor crowd. It's a great associtation for you to have and it will introduce us to a whole new line of products for weathering our vehicles. As much as we like this place maybe you could check out Scale Model addict. They like videos over there. Phat Pete tottering off to bed now.
  24. Ben, I would assume if any are made they will come from diecast companies like Danbury etc. The Aston could be done with the old Aurora/ Monogram kits (maybe).
  25. I get it! Dr. Cranky and Harry are forming a band! And I agree George, the older I get the crankier I get!
