  1. Maybe a '57 Fairlane with a wiper blade in use because of the rain?
  2. great finished unit. Had several in collection but they are gone. They always looked like they were going to tip over on their nose. The Ford C-600 was the same to me.
  3. Great show truck for back in the day. Love the wide whites. The wire drivers would not have much of a chance with the torque from that monster. Love the paint scheme and the chrome sleeper.
  4. IMHO the kits roof is to flat. The Ghostbuster's was the same way. not anything looking like either example the real thing pictured. Maybe back in the day they could have ordered either way. They just don't look right to me.

I'm in need direction on some Peterbilt or Kenworth parts for a couple models that I want to do. Any help would be appreciated. I don't need whole kits, but tires, wheels and a couple of drive axles. After market seems to be a little thin now or I'm not looking in the right places. Thank you in advance for your help. Gary
  6. I don't know if this goes here or not. If not please move to the right place. As I am cleaning up my stash I found the title kit. I bought for my son but he had no interest in models. I know ,I'm a failure, but that is good news for you. This kit is here for the taking, first come first serve. It is free, all you need to do is pay for shipping .As you see the box is a little rough but it is all there.
  7. got it yesterday. must have gotten missplaced, it's here and that's what matters.
  8. Not yet. Starting to get worried. I seem to be missing out of something great.
  9. I have a link to a kit that I have for sale on Ebay for those who are interested. It is the Peerless logging trailer. The item number is 20023154458. Also thank you to those that gave me advice on sell the kits. The box lead was great but I have a connection with a large shipping company and get a great deal from them. Can't say who or no more deal. Gary
  10. She started her last tour here in St. Paul. She had a lot of energy and a very good voice for someone in her early 70's. Going to missed by a lot of us who were fans for decades.
  11. I'm updating the list of the kits that I have and should be done in a few days. Is anyone else interested in the updated version or even the old list. It will be a pdf so I will need your email. I will give everyone here a shot before I continue on Ebay.
  12. Thank you all of your words of encouragement. Carl, the box size you used is the same one I have and will handle about 90% of what I have. My son worked one of the biggest box suppliers in the country and I got a very good deal on them when i started this journey Two years ago. That's how long I've been holding out. With number of kits I have I'll get the wording correct very fast. I'm still updating the model list. Just found a couple of boxes with more in them. Geuss I wasn't as ready as I thought.
  13. I was just fine until they started reissuing the kits that I built in my youth. Also the kits I could not get when the children were growing up. Something about feeding them(lol). So they go.
  14. Thank you for all of your comments. The listing for the semi was a general one that I wrote to use with all my listings, so I didn't catch about the shipping. It will be revised. As for Facebook. Started to use it and got into a bad experience on there and will not go back. I didn't start this journey to make a lot of money. It is to remove from my house something that stares at me everyday only to remind me I can't do this anymore. Thank you for the links to my listings, I will try to do better in the future listings. Gary
  15. I have two on ebay now. Teh Kenworth K-100 Aerodyne and the Ford Interceptor Police car. I would post a link but i don't know how, sorry.
  16. Do to my worsening eyesight it is time to let them go. Because we are not allowed to sell here, I'm here to tell anyone who want to know that I'll be selling my collection over the next months on Ebay. They will be sold under the user name of biggbadddogg. It has been a lifelong hobby and I will miss it very much. Good luck if you chose to buy and I thank all of you for your ideas that I have used over the years and have help my builds very much. Gary
  17. What kind of kits are you looking for? No seats are not a problem for me.
  18. The first wagon I can remember is the 1959 Desoto that my dad had. It was tu-tone green. I personnal owned a 1981 Chevy Malibu and a 1982 Cutlas Cieara.
  19. Mine is about 200. they range in scale from 1/8th to 1/24-25th. Oldest bought about 40 years and the newest about six months. Everything from big rigs to classics to drag. In the beginning process of getting ris of anything under 1/16th due to vision issues. After that I should be down to about 40.
  20. I know it's not that exciting as everything here, but I managed to get the work bench clear of all non-modeling "stuff". I can actually see the surface and the 2 or 3 stalled project in behind the everything that was there. Quite proud of myself. How long it stays this way is another thing.
  21. Got mine from the buried in snowbank mailbox today.
  22. That seat would scare the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of the kids. You would not have to swing your arm wildly, Just turn around and give the look.
