  1. John this is a great project. Can't wait to see the next update. Bobthehobbyguy

  3. Hard to tell this is a model in the pictures. Another great build. Bobthehobbyguy
  4. Very nice build. bobthehobbyguy
  5. Very cool. As always its is a joy to watch your builds. I can't believe you started this Aug.31 and its almost done. I am now convinced you have elves working in the model room for you John, with the speed in which you turn out these projects. bobthehobbyguy
  6. Very cool always liked Big Al and Quad Al. He also did an isetta. How about a smart car with and Allison engine? Are the Allison engines from AMT? Bobthehobbyguy
  7. How about using the chassis from the AMT wagonrod. Bobby Alloway sets up the body stance and then has Morrison make a chassis to fit the stance. You could either use the corvette engine or pull another engine from another kit. Bobthehobbyguy
  8. Looking good John. Can't wait to see this one finished. Bobthehobbyguy
  9. What about using aluminum. You could keep it to scale and if you run bolts into the frame it should be string. Bobthehobbyguy
  10. As always it a pleasure to watch your builds. bobthehobbyguy
  11. The tires you are using seem a lot wider than the kit tires. Could you do a side by side to show the difference? What changes are you making to make them fit since they are wider? Thanks, bobthehobbyguy
  12. Where did you get the tires, they don't look like the kit tires? Bobthehobbyguy
  13. I have a couple of the 1/16 Jungle Jim Vegas and I am inspired to build one of them after watching this build. bobthehobbyguy
  14. Harry you're right. However somebody could also pay to have somebody build a model for them and then say its theirs. If somebody is going to cheat then there isn't much that can be done.
  15. Great start. I'm watching this one. Looks like a great way to learn some new techiques. bobthehobbyguy
  16. Thanks. However my question is what do you use to fish mouth the tubing. When you join a tube to another tube you have to have to make the tubing being joined concave on the end for a good joint. Do you use a file or your dremel for doing this. Bobthehobbyguy
  17. Thanks for the answer . . I'm curious how to you fishmouth type tubing when you build your chassis? Bobthehobbyguy
  18. Another killer build. Are you working from plans for the chassis? Please share your secret on how you can build so fast. The chassis would take me weeks or months to complete and you do it in days? I would like to try some of your tricks for my future builds. Bobthehobbyguy
  19. Never mind the parts gremlin put it back on my bench this morning. Know it wasn't there yesterday. LOL I'm gonna catch him one of these days. bobthehobbyguy
  20. Hey I'm putting together an Eldon Milk Truck I started a number of years back. Somewhere along the line I lost one of the interior parts. The part I need some info about is part 7( Front Pad- it is inside panel for the firewall). Can anyone tell me is it done with a button tuffed pattern like the side panels(parts 2 and 4)? Thanks, Bobthehobbyguy
  21. What are you using for reference for doing the detail? Bobthehobbyguy
  22. Any more progress I am enjoying this build and am looking forward to seeing more. I have a jungle jim kit and I've seen some ideas to help me build mine. Bobthehobbyguy
  23. Looks good. How about some chassis shots. Bobthehobbyguy
  24. Very nice celan builds. How long did it take you build the three? Bobthehobbyguy
