  1. "....if you have to ask how much, you can't afford one!" the only "stock" 32 kits were the old AMT 32s... not pricey, but also not that realistic.. there are probably some very nice stock diecast models....

    '29 Roadster

    VERY nice!
  3. Interesting model but I think you meant to say you channeled the body not that you sectioned it..
  4. I've always called those hubcaps.. and the "big" ones, wheelcovers. (just like the car companies always did)
  5. I like it!
  6. looks pretty good to me......
  7. As usual, your response means...ummm...nothing LOL.. of course not.
  8. Gee Bill I thought that was your Title.....you do realize this is just a model car discussion site right? I no longer offer counseling services to strangers and certainly not for free....sorry.
  9. You called people "maggots" for POSSIBLY profitting from Don and Catol's situation (something I'm sure they wouldn't do)... Yes Bill I not only know what you meant, I even understand why you said it. Kinda sad...
  10. As long as you don't EVER sell them for more than they cost (plus shipping perhaps) you should be OK...
  11. LOL...maybe you and Tom can convince them to let you two review thier orders and "protect" them from being exploited by some of those customers. Maybe if you feel as strongly about this (possible) problem as you seem to be....you could even insist on it? How about people who order thier products and never get around to using them? Must they keeep them for fear of being "maggots" if they sell them for more than they paid?
  12. It would be great if the Bronco is a 3n1 with both tops (and therefore easily built as a roadster too). ...and/or both the 6 and the V8 The wheels in the ad look kinda tiny....easily fixed, if so, i guess. I also hope they get the "too high" roof right (memories of the recent "chopped" 90 Mustang kits come to mind). Really looking forward to this one.....and I'm very glad it's coming from Revell and not Moebius.
  13. Never really thought about an early Bronco kit....hope they do a good job with it, it should be a great seller for them and a fun kit for us. Just think about how many different versions one could build!
  14. I believe it's generally referred to as "Capitalism"....it's been around for sometime now. Modelhaus was making a decent profit on things others designed/created....far more cheaply than it cost the OEMs. Yet that's OK... I guess it's just a matter of perception?
  15. Maybe it depends on who's on "duty"....or the day of the week?
  16. Like the quality of their kits...thier customer service apparently varies quite a bit. It seems to me their products should be getting better with each kit but that doesn't seem to be the case....very disappointing to me.
  17. Looks like it has had a "wash"..very tough to do nicely on these..grille bars are very thin and shallow. Unfortunately, photo etch grilles are the only ones that really look good. Fortunately there are beautiful ones availble.
  18. Strange mistake for someone who's been driving that thing for 50 years now to make.....glad the guys were ok!
  19. Even better would be parts from the chopped 48 Ford kit. .the.dropped axle --nicer hop up parts for the flathead---- tuck n toll interior are especially. nice..
  20. This kit only contains stock parts...the 48 convertible kit was re issued at least once as a stock only kit after being a 2 n 1 kit the first issue. This kit IS the same as the reissued stock only convertible kit except the body and interior pieces. If fact it says 48 convertible on the coupe's floor piece. So again, this kit contains ONLY stock parts. (not including the police car items)..
  21. VERY nice...
  22. Yes it has separate vent windows..the box art police car is missing quite a few parts for some reason.
