  1. Looks good! I tossed that terrible 69 grille too...went with a 70 instead.

    Isetta

    very nice! 1/16th scale?
  3. I think you need to re-scribe the door lines...the doors are too short and don't match the roof/side windows.
  4. Those prices seem far too high for re-issues.... pass.
  5. ^^^^^^ I think your sarcasm detector has failed ,Steve
  6. ^^^^ I've noticed that too..... like all the folks who shopped at Walmart helped send thousands of jobs overseas and destroyed many local businesses across the country. It never occurred to those shoppers what they were doing...either.
  7. That is bad news....I thought(hoped) they were doing OK.
  8. nice period piece.... (but it's a 34 Ford)
  9. Such a odd rant....are you sure you are even addressing the right forum? The divisions of models you mention aren't even done here. You do know that many car dealers sell new and used "customized" vehicles....lots of them! Maybe you might try a less stressful hobby?

    test

link goes to a tiny picture of a Hudson(?)
  11. very nice....
  12. The revell 57 is a base model 2 door sedan.... customs tended to be 2 door hardtops like the AMT kit...but it's all up to you!
  13. Wide whites ended in 61 as on option. The grille surround is painted, usually,if not always, white.
  14. The revell 57's have very nice chassis but they have a different wheelbase than the amt kit. The frame and floor are separate on the Revell kit. The Fireball 57 (revell too) is a race car only kit IIRC...the other revell 57s have stock parts. How important is it too lose the molded in exhaust..the rest of the amt chassis is pretty nice if I remember correctly. Good luck.
  15. #1 no it's orange. #2 no, wide white walls were no longer available by 64. #3 there was a "deluxe" version that had side trim down the sides, trim on the cab B pilars and around the windshield and the front bumber and grille. #4 the grille opening surround is painted white. There is no shortage of pictures of these trucks on the net including sales brochures......Google is your friend for questions like this.

    Shelby Cobra

    very nice
  17. Yes now it's there... WOW that is impressive! Did he master the whole kit or is it a copy. Thanks for sharing,it is a shame he couldn't make the resin business work,he did some very nice stuff.
  18. Nice job... Ford did make a similar body in 1932..the roadster pickup.
  19. The last AMT 40 I saw was in pretty poor condition (as you would expect for a 60 year old mold with little apparent maintance) The Revell kit is far better in every respect.
  20. VERY nice... how/where did you get those wheels?
