  1. The re-issue Fleetline with new decals is $41.95 too....but.the Sedan delivery (same as original version) is only $32.95. all are + $10 for shipping.
  2. The 32 looks great! Thanks for sharing... Studebaker hub caps? from MMR?
  3. Even though that "definition" is nonsense?
  4. It sure does....but not understanding what's going on all around you or why must be very frightening. Especially if you need to have complex issues dumbed down into media slogans that are designed to trivialize important issues.
  5. Maybe...look how they reacted to the much bigger upset around that infamous Mustang. Oh wait, they still make it AND a 2nd version too. I noticed the Tower description of the wagon said it had custom wheels and disc brakes too, so maybe they're just kinda confused?
  6. Tower Hobbies is listing the wagon as "discontinued" ! Surely this is a mistake?
  7. Tower is listing the 57 wagon as "discontinued" ! I'm assuming it's a mistake?
  8. Great! thanks Art...I'll be watching for them. mike
  9. "Now, all we have to come up with is a good way of inserting wheels without ruining great paint jobs!" Planning ahead almost always helps.... Pre-fitting the wheels to make sure they fit easily should do the trick. (and some wheels can be fitted from the backside of the tire as well).
  10. Of course it's not really all that important Scott....I thought it odd that Revell removed them instead of fixing them, I was mostly just curious why they did it that way. Of course I think I'm right about the guards and for the reasons I gave. So....Now I'm wishing the fronts had been "optional" too as it really cleans up the front of a 57 to leave 'em off (mild custom style). Maybe the Ranchero version will be even better.....
  11. and the license plate lights were in the bumper guards.... I can't think of a single state that didn't require the plate to be lit up... Though possible I suppose, the idea of someone going to the bother of ordering his new (rather up-scale) wagon without bumper guards strikes me as highly unlikely. Hard to imagine dealers or owners of new cars jerry-rigging thier own lights either....or ignoring the empty holes in the bumper.
  12. I'm confused...a (big) fan but no radiator? What holds up the windshield? Those wheels look great painted.
  13. you're right on both counts..
  14. There are a few things about these trucks that just don't seem finished..no hood hinges, oversized headlight doors, unfinished dash. Most details are nice and it assembles just fine, but some parts seem rushed or unfinished. Deadline issues maybe? I hope they decide to "refine" this kit in the future..
  15. coils on F100s .leafs on F250s
  16. Volkswagen: Technician Killed by Robot at Production Plant in Germany The man was part of a team assembling the robot when it grabbed and crushed him, a Volkswagen spokesman said. uh oh.....
  17. It's a shame they "overlooked" the grille problem, (is that why none of the photos were straight on?). .it's so obvious and there's no shortage of reference material. Unfortunately few here seem to notice or care, so we are probably stuck with them as is. Too bad, it's such a nice kit otherwise.
  18. An excellent reputation(maintained for 25+ years) is worth a 1,000 pictures... or something like that.
  19. Those headlight doors(and turn signals) are rather oversized...I think the 4 grille sections are supposed to be the same size. That's gonna be hard to fix if it bothers anyone.....
  20. Yes I read the instructions online....says to use Tamiya (surprize) ABS cement. I didn't notice anything about painting it differently...paint guides list regular Tamiya paints.
  21. Tower has the '71 for $27 I get free shipping over $25 offers from them about once a month. But it appears they are NOT stocking the '69.
  22. That's kinda odd... Does super glue work on ABS? How about epoxy? I've no experience (that I know of) with gluing ABS....
  23. I can't help but think that having the entire process under one roof would be a giant help. Unless they station their own staff overseas, how can they properly oversee what's being made in a timely fashion?
  24. Love the "rusty" fiberglass bedsides on the Cameo. You *were* kidding right?
