  1. Good grief....now there's some paranoid ideation for you! Get well soon Tom.
  2. I got the new 57 Ford wagon.... 3 things about it, the rear bumper guards were removed instead of making them smaller and the green decals for the interior are gonna be hard to match/coordinate with any other colors and it has all the supercharger parts. Overall I'm quite pleased with it though....
  3. What a bizzare reaction Steve and Austin.. ..you guys thought the pics were "funny" and a couple of us disagreed, that's ALL. Your reactions to us not finding humor were rather exaggerated don't you think?
  4. I don't see anything even vaguely funny about any of those pictures....seems unlikely anyone involved thought so either. The driver and/or passengers of the Mustang especially.
  5. So it appears Frank wants us to just guess what he got wrong with his 32....
  6. I think I'll get n build another one.....it really is a great kit!
  7. Really Frank? "they may have been the standard seats in many of amt's kits" but they look like exact "copies(?)" the one's in your 64 Merc? thanks for chuckle!
  8. But Bill no where near (either) half of the people drive into high water (the subject of the thread) or try to cross train crossings with the barriers down. Do they?
  9. I looked at your 32 on photobucket it looked just fine to me....was that the one you were referring to? Your "inexperience" doesn't show.
  10. IF you use the fenders, you DON"T use the "inner fenders", they are for the highboy version only.... and the interior tub needs to be in the correct position in the body. This is why experienced modelers test fit parts before you go too far with paint and assembly.
  11. Bummer..those body "modules"(?) can be tough for some inexperienced modelers. Without more detail to go on, it sounds like you made a mistake in assembling either the frame "module" or the body "module" or maybe both. Did you read the instructions yet? Or maybe you got another one of those "worn out" kits that seem to follow you around?
  12. Wrong fenders(at the least) on the 65 bed. AMT made a short bed 72 GMC stepside. It should be very easy to find...you'll need the frame too.
  13. Revell/ Monogram.
  14. So what will go into all those empty spaces? It doesn't seem like a drag car version would differ much and a NASCAR version might differ "too much"?
  15. I was thinking it looked kinda Lindberg (ish) in part because of the windwing design. like what they could have done if they had stayed in business.
  16. But Tim, if we can't jump to unfounded conclusions, what fun can some of us have? Thanks for the review...looks like they did a fine job.
  17. Any of you folks take (and pass) statistics in school? Turns out a handful of people (out of 330 million) doing seemingly foolish things is nearly meaningless statistically. Sorry...
  18. I think the "problem" pre-dates your (and the others)references by about 100 years....nothing new whatsever.
  19. I'm always amazed to see so many people with a computer don't seem know how to look *anything* up ... or are they just too lazy?
  20. not to mention that blasted separate roof....nor would we want to lose the stock 30.
  21. "Who wouldn't know?" YOU.
  22. The molds wear out, so their value is limited. It's the masters that count.
  23. of course that's what he meant....clear to all except the terminally obtuse.
