  1. Actually knowing what they're suposed to look like helps a lot when it comes to evaulating products....yes, those look just fine.
  2. My goodness Frank ,if not for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all.
  3. Yep cheap plastic wheelcovers....nothing even remotely "pro street" about them.... I'm thinking AMT was making a joke?
  4. Very nice except.... The radiator needs to be painted black just like you did on the back ..not merely "washed" that is the radiator showing, not a grille...
  5. neat little truck...thanks for sharing.
  6. Those re *all* very nice...that's such a neat kit OOB or "improved" . Thanks for sharing!
  7. Sadly,I suspect the F100 will be the old one (like they did with the "Roth" 57 Chevy) I've wanted an update of the F100 since it was originally introduced. I like the list of possible cars but I would LOVE it if those wwere done with stock bodies. Sometimes just wheels n tires n running grear changes would be enough for me. While I generally like Foose's designs, I'm not really that interested in building models of them. I'm still (a little) sad we didn't get a stock bodied 48ford coupe or a stock bodied Caprice wagon. We'll see I guess...
  8. I stand corrected...of course we don't know how exactly they copied the chevy motor
  9. me too...kinda glad they made it like they did.
  10. or maybe the one out of the 37 chevy that's just been re-released. or the 50 pickup or the 51 hardtop? (I just remember those better and they're easier to find)
  11. I thought you were kidding but you never know here... again nice job on the model and at the leg-pulling
  12. LOL.. I meant *our* Chevelle vs. *your* Beaumont.....
  13. Nice job....it's interesting to see the differences between the US and Canadian versions. Thanks for re-posting.
  14. Nice job. I saw an orginal issue (unbuilt) the other day...the finish on the body and chrome was nearly perfect, very impressive.
  15. It's a running driving 1-1 replica made from the factory blueprints.... google it,they let Jay Leno "test" it..
  16. The "Toyoda" looks great...can't wait for mine to come.
  17. Despite of its being a snapper...I think it has the best body proportions. I do wish the "gunsights" were separate tho. And it has those great wheels!
  18. These will be interesting to see....I suspect they'll be pre-decorated semi-snap kits as they've produced before (Tower's prices reinforce this notion to me). But if they're well done shelf models and they follow up "promptly" with Chevys and Toyotas they may succeed. Cup Racing still popular with modelers?
  19. Please do and thanks for all your previous updates.
  20. Nice job...what don't you like?
  21. Doesn't one of the "recent" AMT 57s show a two door sedan on the box (pinkish paint iirc)... but it's the same hardtop as the others.
  22. I'm with you Greg.....hopefully the new Revell kits will inspire a new set with just the grille. Once you've seen/used the photo-etch nothing else looks good imo.
  23. Nice workmanship and lots of $$...... just isn't enuff sometimes.
