  1. Here are the test shot photos of the SNAP C7 I took just before IHOBBY Last year. You can compare to the photos of the test shot prefinished version in the first post. I see several similarities, but they are different molds. Revell indicated there was a broad market for the C7.
  2. Work almost done on engine. Need to finish the fuel lines then mount in the chassis and do more wiring. May leave the starter wiring alone since it will be buried. I also drilled out the block for a dip stick tube.
  3. Multiple in the area, including an exotics dealer view and test drive (for charity). "THE BOSS" came along this time to be sure nothing followed me home http://s150.photobucket.com/user/exotics_builder/library/2015-06-21%20Oak%20Brook%20Car%20Shows
  4. Not to challenge your perception, but is this actual data? When I interviewed the various manufacturers a few years ago, the markup to suggested retail was around 50%. There would be a small profit built into the wholesale price.
  5. They were $40 each when bought over 12 years ago. Looks like I bought them at an inopportune time.
  6. Well I have these two and they are going up in the trade section (not cheap trades). Just not in the build horizon anymore...
  7. You cannot go wrong with VRM decals. I have the midget sets for the V8 and Offy, the Cobra set, the Cheetah set and a couple of others. All high quality (no I don't get a cut even if I was born in Massachusetts ). Looking forward to getting several sets of the engine turned decals as I have several projects they could be applied to.
  8. Attached to a parts supplier and small, but some interesting stuff. http://s150.photobucket.com/user/exotics_builder/library/2015-06-02%20Effingham%20Corvette%20Museum
  9. OH!! Spraying. Guess a Vet is not needed
  10. Suspect future versions. The sprues are clean at the ends.
  11. http://s150.photobucket.com/user/exotics_builder/library/2015-05-28%20Barrington%20Cruise%20Night
  12. X2. I need to get in touch with Chris and get some stuff. He sells out quick on a lot of his work.
  13. Interior work is finished. Added a Model Car Garage Stewart-Warner Tach to the steering wheel and installed the dashboard. On the chassis, got the wheels mounted to the axle and subframe and installed the tires. Also added Replica and Miniatures of Maryland resin valve stems. Now on to completing the engine detail, finish the polishing and start final assembly. Should be ready for the July GTR Modelers Club meeting.
  14. I will be doing a build along with steps along the lines of the Hemi Dart
  15. September? I haven't been tracking this one as the Ventura is what thrills me. I had to cut open the plastic wrap to get at it. As I said, a friend sent this to me and I am going to do a build on this one as soon as the Hemi Dart is done (about 3 weeks). I will have to seek the opinions of GTR and CARS in Miniature clubs MOPAR experts to help me in this. But then, Fiat now owns Chrysler and I don't think has spun Ferrari off yet. So I guess it can be classified an exotic
  16. Well, after I finish the Hemi Dart, I will have to get into another Chrysler product to thank a friend for providing this. These are quick shots with no attempt to deal with perspective or parallax.
  17. Gotta retrieve mine from Revell. I loaned them my old SSP kit to fill in some details on the reissue.
  18. Did Revell change 250 GTO's? Last time I looked (almost a year ago) it was the Protar 250 GTO.
  19. That would certainly be an interesting option!!
