  8. Moving along with the 62 Belair. I like the way the interior came out, a lot. May have to change body color though, marina Blue isn't doing it for me right now. What do ya think guys, a real nice Black seems to be calling.
  9. Welcome aboard, I'm sure you will enjoy this forum. The knowledge and help that is available is fantastic. great job on the Catalina.
  10. Well Bill it may be a little small but it is well protected with the gun leaning in the corner.
  11. Thank you for posting this and I could not agree more. With all the bad news we hear about on the evening news and read about in our newspapers it is easy to become calloused and uncaring. It does the heart and soul good to hear positive and heartfelt news.
  12. All packed up and ready to go camping. Fantastic build on both the wagon and camper. great paint scheme.
  13. True enough, but then the wife would be upset with me. 38 years of marriage have taught me a Happy Wife means a Happy Life.
  14. I recently asked what color interior would go with a Marina Blue paint job. I shared all the answers with my wife, Paula. She stepped back, placed her hands on her hips and said," who are you building this model for?" Now having been married for 38 years I knew the answer to that question, " I'm building it for you dear." "Then I want a black and gray interior." Yes dear. I am going to take my time on this one and try my darnedest to get it right. Any and all comments are more than welcome.
  15. I definitely agree with Mr.MOTO.

    33 Ford Coupe

Now that's how you build them. WOW!!!!!
  17. I'm asking myself the same question when I look at the frame of the 62 Chevy I'm building. Naturally I painted it black but I would almost kill to get a finish like this on a body.
  18. Looks like this is one I am going to have to follow.
  19. Hey guys I was hoping you could offer a little advice about painting this 62 Chevy I'm working on. I want to paint the body Chevrolet Marina Blue and was thinking of doing the interior in black. The wife thinks that will be to dark and I kind of agree with her. Any suggestions???
  20. That is one nice looking 57 Chevy. Good job, I love that interior.
  21. I book marked this one. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  22. I'd be tickled pink if they would just put the customizing parts and accessories back into the kits like they were back in the day.
  23. Darn nice looking Chevy
  24. I have a GTX model I would like to build but the glass is a mess, front windshield. I believe I have heard mention of acetate being used. May not be spelled right. Is that correct and where do you get it?
  25. I like your choice in models. I will be following this build.
