  1. Is this not the same chassis that is in the Soapy Sales and Bounty Hunter Funny Cars. Tim if you have a pic of the Satellite could you post it, I have never seen a styrene body of this car
  2. The Snake car was a Kent Fuller car, I think built in early 1972 after the wedge, One thing I noticed in the kit, is that it does not have the Lenco 2 speed transmission, even though it is mentioned on the brochure that comes with the kit. The yet to be released Mongoose dragster was a Garlits built car. This is the orignal Garlits rear engine car with some new parts
  3. The lighter car you refer is the yellow car, that is refered to as the Yellow Feather car. It was a Kent Fuller built car, not a Garlits car. Tom McEwen had a Garlits car built for himself. Just a note the Mongoose never had a wedge car built. even though Hot Wheels had one made, that was never a real car.

  9. Jon forwarded your request to a friend of mine who is a huge Daytona/Superbird fan here is what he sent me Here is the link to their resin. http://stores.smhracing.com/69-daytona-charger/ It looks like it is the Nascar version but I think the wing and nose are the same for racing/street kit. They could call the number for SMH hobbies and I am pretty sure they can put them in touch with the caster if need be. I know they sold me parts for my MPC Plymouth Nascar kits which were parts of their 71 Ply resin body kit.
  10. Not to nitpick!! But one of them is a cat LOL

  13. Just to clarify the MMVA is not affiliated with IPMS/Gateway, Several members belong to both clubs but each club acts indepent of each other. IPMS/Gateway is giving web space to MMVA to host their website. It is here http://ipms-gateway.com/MMVASt.%20Louis.html Nice to see you today Kevin
  14. Just a note, some of the photos in the link are labeled wrong, the driver/ owner of the Budweiser car was Roy Harris not Clayton Harris. Clayton drove Top Fuel cars mostly not Funny Cars
  15. ADRL is out of business, as is the XDRL that came after it, notice pattern. What is left is the PDRA that once again has 1/8 mile races. Rule book is here pdra660.com look under competition

  20. The Colts were never legal for NHRA Pro Stock. IHRA allowed them. Notice pic at top of page it is a B/Altered
  21. Sorry not the 66, but Elapsed Times magazine now on the shelves has a nice article on the restored 72 Demon, Restored to original so it cannot be raced only a cackle car
  22. Their are no NASCAR safety vehicles as per the NHRA who has the Safety Safari and travel to every race. Each track is contracted to provide their own safety vehicles.
  23. So does the Revell Pinto use a different chassis than the rest of the Revell line up, like the Revellution or JJ Vega
  24. Was this chassis (in the Pinto kit) different from the standard Revell chassis that was in the McEwen Duster and the rest of those style kits. If so can someone post a picture of it, I have never seen it Thanks
  25. If you mean this one: That would be the hatch the Chi Town charger had, this is from an earlier forum posting http://cs.scaleautom....aspx?sort=DESC That is the original car, a young Austin Coil and Jungle Jim Liberman as fill in driver. Jungle died in a street car accident in September of 1977
