  1. Wow haven't seen a trabant since I last visited Hungary about 5 years ago. Nice model
  2. That's a nice hot rod, but this is a forum for MODEL cars not REAL cars. LOL joking but awesome job. My jaw still hurts from hitting the floor when I saw this model.
  3. There are, but I don't ever recall seeing testors lacquers anywhere. Most hobby stores I go to carry whole bunch of tamiya enamel sprays, but I only remember seeing testors sprays at the Michaels. Thanks anyways though. At least I know what to look for.
  4. The only place I know of that sells testors products is MIchael's and they seem to have limit availability of colors. Do you know where else I could get those paints in Toronto, Canada?
  5. Also, does anyone know if duplicolor makes the ford grabber blue or the dodge sublime green?
  6. Hey there. I've been looking for an orange duplicolor paint for some time now and for some reason I cant find any. Today I found some, but it's the engine enamel variety. On the pack it says it has to be applied to bare metal. My question is can I use engine enamel paint for plastic model cars (over duplicolor primer) and if not, where can I find some orange paint for model cars? I'm not friends with air brushing by the way. Thanks
  7. Wow did not see that coming lmao good job.
  8. This is the EXACT same color scheme/engine/wheels combo I was going to do on my 32 sedan. These pictures bring tears to my eyes. Beautiful. Only thing wrong with it is the fact that it's not mine.
  9. It's actually the late production of Testarossa called F512M with glass headlights instead of the pop up ones
  10. Shame it never went into production. Beautiful.
  11. I absolutely love this hot rod you built
  12. I would run it fenderless and channeled. Maybe section the body a bit
  13. Reminds me of my childhood
  14. Wow that's what I call tragedy to triumph. Looks amazing as a coupe
  15. That's the new Corvette Street Sleeper Evolution prototype!!!! Comes with a 1500hp v16 and stealth technology so it's impossible to see it on a radar!!
  16. I get mine from Canadian Tire
  17. Them flames looking sick
  18. Oh and as for primer, you don't NEED to use it, but it is highly recommended that you do since primers generally help paint stick to the surface. I usually use duplicolor sandable primer. They are lacquer primers so you can spray enamels, acrylics, and lacquers over them without worrying about it cracking. Now if the model is molded in colored plastics (red or green for example) then you should use duplicolor primer sealer instead of sandable primer. Hope this helps.
  19. I usually use duplicolor paints. So far had no problems with them and they don't cost an arm and a leg like some other brands. Their primers work very well and cost a lot cheaper than tamiya primers. Tamiya also makes some nice spray enamels, but they are a bit costly for the amount you get. If you are planning on spraying more than one layer of colored paint, make sure you stick to one kind of paint. For example if you are painting a car with enamel paint and then doing stripes on top of it with a lacquer, the enamel underneath will crack. Same thing will happen if you use lacquer clear over enamel base. Duplicolor makes mostly lacquer paint, but they do make enamel paints too so make sure you read the label before buying/using.
