  1. not sure if you mean original colors (which I assume would be quite drab - or British Racing Green) or something with a little more pa-zing: http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/mmc/downloads/brochures/2012morgan3wheelerbrochure.pdf (see page #14)
  2. you'll want to spray. some brands are more forgiving than others. you might want to build a couple of other kits which offer less pressure so you can get the hang of it before trying to paint an important build. good to be back, eh? there's been a LOT of changes in the hobby.
  3. came out really nice. but if it's "radio - dispatched" - where's the antenna?
  4. it's a bit wordy in spots, but a great deal of good information. there's also ton on that website: http://www.gslchampionship.org/library/

  7. hobby lobby $7.05 using coupon
  8. interesting timing resurrecting this thread; just printed this http://user.xmission.com/~msgsl/GSL/docs/HowToBuildChampionshipScaleVehicles.pdf over the weekend
  9. I have (at least 1) SCTA decal which I think came from one version or another of the Revell '32 ford coupe. sorry to be so vague but all decals get shuffled into a singles container for storage. if you pm me your snail mail address whatever I find is yours.
  10. this was from google images; there's pages of this stuff
  11. old electronics. Christmas may help when folks get replacements for those busted computers & printers. also, search the tricks section of the forum: (link didn't work) I just used "wire" and got some good tips
  12. RUST - ya'll gotta git thet rust on there. bumper to, whall, where the bumpas should oughta be at. that's whats gonna git ya in 'em glossy prints. don't matter how, slather that puppy end to end, top to bottom, stem ta stern, port over starb'd an' binnacle to pinnacle. tars? heck, they gots steel belts, so rus' them up, too. now that's some quality cruisin' rat thar. put so much on so's no-buddy will even notice there's one exhaust, three wheels hittin' the pavement, or missing steering wheel. it's okay - everyone will figur it's "kewel" and not say a word. don't have no fancy, schmancy paint weatherin' kit? no matta, take 'er out inna back yard and smoosh the real thing all over. ya can evenleave it out there for a couple of weeks if'n yer want. no one will know, and it only makes it look more better in the photos. and I want this on my headstone:
  13. perhaps you and your Dance Instructors could just focus on the other 90%?
  14. being Elitist is what separates us from the rabble
  15. I've had good luck using Dymo plastic label tape as a straightedge. you could score it a few times with the back of a hobby knife to give your saw a place to seat.
  16. it's resin. and not wood. but it is available as a transkit from http://www.motorcityresincasters.com/41plymouthSedanDelivery.htm
  17. that's some proper rust, not the "sanded through to the primer" junk I see everywhere
  18. glad you're keeping a sense of humor- and sanity!- about the whole situation. you'll be fine.
  19. do you have access to another source of air? even if you bit the bullet and buy a can of propellant it might be worth isolating the compressor/ airbrush issues. or a fellow artist who has a compressor you can hook up to for a bit and get the airbrush problem sorted, and then work on your compressor thingie.
  20. 'cause he ain't right in his head - aren't you reading the replies?
  21. 'puter's on the bench; glue & paint need time to dry - and focus needs to be changed about every ten minutes. best of all worlds
  22. but we all are individuals, just like everyone else ...
