  1. I had never heard of this car so I searched it. among other sites, I found this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04BtV1YOJgE these guys have stones!
  2. at the very least a dealer should notify you - and ship what he has in a timely manner giving you the option to wait or cancel with full refund.
  3. looks like a kneeler with elbow rests when speaking into the porcelain phone to Ralph about those Buicks

  6. coming to grips with the conclusion 99% of "irks" are first world problems and don't mean doodily in the grand scheme.
  7. that's some great slice & dice going on. Q: was this a prototypical Ford model for 1936 or are you creating a phantom?
  8. yeah; one's an innie, the other an outie.

  17. that's how you tell "real" bakelite
  18. I dunno. have checked other cottage suppliers over the past few days and most guys are getting about $7.00 for a pair of tires. so 4 for 15$ isn't as outrageous as first blush. and most suppliers are listing these below 12. they make great stocking stuffers, and that is a price we can all deal.
  19. I vote the Hiace as a dually
  20. true. the most important thing I learned in two years of tech school is the "C" word = Communication
  21. this is what people depend upon. I just had a credit card replaced because BoA noticed odd activity. usually there'll be a few test charges ($3 - 20) to see if the card works before the fun begins.
  22. buncha ballbusters. anyway, 1969 and was watching the Chambers Brothers warm up for the lead act, Joe C hissef. things got a little "too intense" and I had to leave the auditorium before the set. suppose I should regret it, but somehow I have moved along without ... well, 70 isn't chronologically old, but i'll wager they were like "dog years" and he packed like 150 into it.
