  2. Samsung tablet with stand and bluetooth keyboard. Comes with a built-in camera and connects by wifi to your desktop router. Can be relocated in the room to keep paints and solvents off of it, and can still can provide pics and resources off the internet. I have the tablet set up where I want it, now I gotta finish rebuilding my work area.
  3. Sleep in the car. Problem solved either way.
  4. KISS FANS?! ON A MODEL CAR WEBSITE?!?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!!!! . . . . . . . Nothing to see here... move along....
  5. Nice... I wanted to build mine using '77 parts, and yours looks really sweet that way. Here's my '80s version...
  6. +1 on the Microsol Decal Film. Fred Cady decals, Keith Marks decals, old AMT fragile decals, and even desktop printed decals all need that Microsol to keep them from fracturing into millions of tiny pieces. Saves a TON of time and aggravation!
  7. For the zombie apocalypse.... I want one of these...
  8. That's definitely a Duster. Demons have vertical slotted rear tail lights.
  9. This was my attempt at a "conversion", with resin pieces off of fleaBay for the front and rear changes to the '71 Hemi Cuda kit... Wheels are from the Lindberg Dodge 330 kit.
  10. This was my resin Demon from Model Resin and the AMT Duster kit... And this is the Duster 340 from AMT... I didn't have the proper decals for the Demon so I fudged a bit and used older decals from the old Dodge Challenger kit. Not too bad I guess.
  11. Something about that car screams "Just p!$$ me off once and see what happens". It's pitbull-angry.
  12. I've already built two of the '70s Dodge Challenger 2-in-1 kits and getting another one here soon. I built one as a "Vanishing Point" car in white and an R/T in Panther Pink just for fun. My third is going to be a reproduction of the police cars used in the movie "In Time".
  13. I also have the DVD... gotta watch it again to see if they used a clean print of the movie or restored it.
  14. Sorry to see he's still having it rough. I needed a power bulge Cuda hood from him at one point and had to wait some time to get it. Hopefully he can rebound and make a comeback since his work is pretty awesome. My "Phantasm" Cuda with correct hood...
  15. Soooo many levels of wrong, Harry. Soooo many levels....
  16. I noticed that too... not sure if it's just from the camera angles chosen when they filmed it or the customization they did to the Belvederes/Savoys they used in the movie. Maybe if we can track down one of the engineers that built the various Christines for the movie they might shed some light on the whole thing. Probably easier said than done though.
  17. There's SOOO many cars I'd love to convert to wagons... Done by someone else... sweet.... Real car.... WANT THIS...
  18. Yup, I built that same MPC kit into a KISS Army Van. Here's what I did to mine... I printed off my own decals for the car and used Model Master's Blazing Black One Coat. Turned out pretty sweet.
  19. My family had a Laguna as well. Patiently waiting on this one...
  20. 1. late 60's early 70's Pontiac Le Mans Sport... 2. '88 - '01 Jeep Cherokee (box style) - modifiers DREAM.... 3: Ford Gran Torino
  21. It would be nice if they WOULD, but it doesn't seem like they want to. All the recently reissued Tamiya/Fujimi kits they're doing are the curbside ones, and even those are at a higher cost than American Revell kits. Don't get me wrong, the cost is negligible if they are made available here in the states, but that's IF they truly decide to release them here. A lot of the extra cost is the fact that they do come from overseas, not to mention the exorbitant costs that come from fleaBay.
  22. I'd like to see some of the Tamiya/Fujimi out of print kits show up under the Revell name, preferrably the "High Mechanism" series that includes an engine. They make some incredible models, and not all of them are curbside or strictly Japanese, although the Toyota Supra line is really sweet. I know Tamiya still makes the MK3 and MK4 Supras but one is curbside (MK3) and the other is pretty costly (MK4). This is why Fujimi's OOP Hi-Mechs would be a nice addition to the Revell lineup.
  23. I scored three nice kits at the model car show this past weekend. They are the Revell Capri Turbo RS, an AMT Prestige Corvair, and the AMT Ford Mustang II, all parts sealed (the Prestige had the pen holder missing but the car bag was intact!). The Capri has the ski rack and ski equipment included. I really need to finish my work area...
