My flame templates arrived today in the mail and I had to try them out. I'm off to mow and will be getting the air brush out. Hers what I have done so far.
James glad to see you bring this KW back to the bench. Your progress is coming along now and looks great. I feel your frustration I had the same issues when I was finishing up my car hauler I bet I glud the front axel on 6 different times before it finally stayed on.
Thanks for the comments Carl, Charlie and Joe.
Well I'm on hold waiting for my flame template to arrive so I can finish the paint. It's going to be yellow in the front with a blend of red where the flames meets the purple. Then a few coats of clear.
Tom just keeps getting better and closer to the finish. When I was installing my hoses I ended up adding some wire in the lines that had the tight bends to get the lines to keep there shape.
Thanks Mark, I've picked up both roll back sizes that is offered and both are well built and have lots of detailed parts with them like chains, cable and the winch.
Mike thanks I'm always open to sugesstions and comments on my WIP builds.
This is a build I've been planning for some time now and I've been on a car hauler building run and have one more to add. im starting with the old AMT Li'L Gasser and a roll back deck from a guy on eBay. Here's a mock up of what I'm planning. It will have a HEMI and be painted with HEMI Orange. I have not decided on what will be on the deck yet.
