  1. Awesome build Ken! I like all the changes you made on the car hauler and the extra details added.
  2. Thanks Larry, I’ve got another one on the work bench now to add to the fleet. Thanks Carl Thanks Joe Thanks David Thanks Helmut Thanks Jeff
  3. Thanks Brian, My progress does not look like a lot but it was time consuming getting the hydraulic lines and pump installed. It might of been easier if I had done it earlier in the building but I also had to get some fixed points done to start. Anyway I’ve got it in still need to go back and do some touch up paint and paint the drive shaft I had to lengthen. I also made some attachments for the rear mud flaps that will be attached to the bottom side of the dump body. I also worked on the exhaust stack that will now go straight up instead of the bent one in the kit.
  4. Made progress on the engine, put some BMF on the front bumper and installed the hydraulic tank.
  5. Nice Mustang project Joe.
  6. Welcome Matt to MCM! Very interesting diorama build you have planned. Nice progress on your truck and trailer. Do you know what the white stuff is that’s on the wheels and under side of the tank? I’m thinking that it might be a foam for fires. If that’s what it is then I think there’s some kind of spray nozzle behind the cab.
  7. Thanks Carl. Worked on the fuel tanks and details on the front grill also painted the dump body. Here’s my test fitting Thanks Jeff I’ve got 2 more in my stash that I have not thought about yet. Picked them up at Hobby Lobby on sale just to have for some future build.
  8. Thanks Warren check out my Autocar in WIP area.
  9. Wow Jeff nice progress today. I know where you spend most of your day today.
  10. Worked on the fuel tanks and details on the front grill also painted the dump body. Here’s my test fitting and checking on the color scheme.
  11. Nice details on a interesting truck. Welcome to MCM Guilherme.
  12. Worked on the dump body today and have it ready for paint tomorrow morning.
  13. Thanks Brian, I used Krylon - Foil Metallic Silver from Hobby Lobby. Thanks Jim.
  14. This is the ERTL International F - 2674 dump truck that I switched dump bodies with the Autocar dump truck (Montone dump body). It’s also the next addition to my Super Bee Trucking fleet so it has the black and yellow paint scheme and silver/ chrome dump body. I did some reworking on the frame and rear axle location. I used after market front float tires and modified the exhaust stack. Your feed back and comments are always appreciated.
  15. Really nice scratch building Jeff. Its always a great feeling when you put all your pieces that you have made and they actually fit the way you planned it.
  16. Thanks Jeff, I’ve got a lot of free time to build while I’m waiting for a new job.
  17. I’m finished with this one just need to change out the rear tires when my new ones come in.
  18. Thanks Warren, your correct there’s room for a tag axle but for now I’m going to pass on it. Thanks Carl Thanks Dave Thanks Jeff, as you can see that teller paint has already been flying along with some black.
  19. Glad to see you back working on this one Kari. Your stacks look cool.
  20. Thanks Jeff, I’m going with after market front floats and I found these Michelin tires in my tire box. I don’t know where I got them from but I think they look good on it. I made a couple frame changes, first I shorten the frame behind the wheels by 3/8” and then lengthen the frame in front of the wheels to get the dump body to fit. Finished most of the frame and painted. The wheels are still in progress the outer rims will be yellow. I cut down the side boards so they line up with the cab protector.
  21. I’m switching the dump bodies between the International and this Autocar. This is going to be another dump truck for my Super Bee Trucking fleet so yea it’s going to be black and yellow. I don’t like the tall look of the HEIL dump body so I’m lowering the cab protector and the side boards. I’ve lowered the cab protector by 10 scale inches and moved the rear axles closer together. As always your comments are welcome and appreciated.
