  1. That's the only way to fly ! I was fortunate enough to have enjoyed not only an authentic NYC cart dog , but also legit pizza slices when I visited NYC in summer 1989 .
  2. Just make sure that 'Popeye' Doyle isn't across the street dressed as Santa Claus , and that the hot dog vendor isn't 'Cloudy' Russo .
  3. One of my favourite photos of the classic lineup :
  4. Should have a Body By Palmer sticker somewhere on it . WOOF !
  5. Quite likely the same 1968 SS Nova that was featured in a Dragnet : 1968 episode .
  6. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Another consideration : Back in 1971 , the kits were manufactured in the U.S. -- that's all that I'm going to mention about that fact .
  8. 1968 hubcaps are markedly different from the 1969-1975 hubcaps ( the 2nd image you've posted ) . Fireball makes the 1969-1975 style , both Plymouth and Dodge are available . The only source that I'm aware of for the 1965-1968 Plymouth hubcaps are the ones in the old Jo-Han 1968 Fury Police Car -- even then , they're not all that accurate ( no raised centre "cone" like the 1:1 ) . You may be able to use the hubcaps from the Revell 1968 Dodge Charger R/T . They're Dodge-specific , but are closer to the Plymouth caps than those in the Jo-Han '68 Fury Sedan . The first image you've posted are the "generic" 1975-c.1982 Dodge and Plymouth hubcaps .
  9. 'K' as in Potassium... or even Knock it off .
  10. I'd rather see an amateur video followed by GREAT products , than a slick-slade video followed by subpar junk .
  11. Perfect . That's what I have ; that and the white primer .
  12. Such a classic bodystyle ; I love the 1984-1988 styling the best ( Cutlass , Regal , Gran Prix , Monte ) . Amazing that you kept it for 16 years , then sold it for what you'd purchased it for new ! That's awesome !
  13. Excellent ! You'd applied that over a light grey primer , IIRC ?
  14. That's a great idea . Matter of fact , that's how I used to paint the red sections of the seats , etc. , on the black-plastic issues of the Monogram 1986 Monte Carlo . It was tedious , but I'd brush multiple coats of Testors Flat Red in the respective areas .
  15. Perfect ! Apparently , even the brochure calls it Garnet Red . I'll keep that in mind should I not find a satisfactory hobby-specific shade .
  16. Thanks much . I'll have to check for availability of that shade of red . Nice looking build , by the way !
  17. Thanks much for your reply . I'm leaning toward Testors Flat Red , even though I'm not typically a fan of their enamel paints . I prefer --and use almost exclusively-- Tamiya , but am not married to their products . One thing's for sure : spray painting a small interior tub while performing a colour change (in this case , black-to-red) will be fun . I'll likely be using Tamiya Light Grey Primer as the base ; White Primer if need be .
  18. He didn't specify that it need to be strictly the English alphabet... Dd , as in Ddarpar .
  19. I recently purchased an AMT 1991 454-SS Pickup (wish that this kit could be reissued... !) and I noticed that its instruction sheet called-out 'Garnet Red' for the interior colour . I seem to recall that Garnet Red is an OEM G.M. paint colour from c.1970 ; and that Testors had a paint by that same nomenclature . IIRC , the Testors paint is a metallic (as is the G.M. body colour) -- I can't imagine that a fabric interior would have a metallic sheen to it ; and , it's been at least 30 years since I've used the Testors offering . Now , with that being stated , I'm wondering if there's a close-enough red paint which I could use for the interior of the pickup ? Testors Flat Red ? Perhaps a Tamiya colour ( prefer aerosol ) ? Thanks in advance .
  20. Another vote for the "proposed-online" 1974 Dodge Monaco 'A38' / Bluesmobile et al. ! Along with the big block --which could represent either the 400 or the 440 in 1/25th scale , a 360 could be included ; the 727 auto trans would -- in 1/25th scale -- attach to either engine series . Differential could be the Chrysler 9.25" rear ( resembles a Dana 44 ) . Include an optional aftermarket 8 track player to cram-into the A/C vents , plus a Sam & Dave Greatest Hits cartridge , and some litter for the dashboard ( empty pack of Marlboro Reds , etc. ) , and it'd be perfect . Now , how about a 1/25 scale version of the Dixie Square Mall as well ?
  21. Total love bug ! Thanks much for sharing more photos of Spru !
  22. Like a travelling Maneki Neko !
  23. Not to mention Arnold Layne . That song -- Bike -- as the closing track is genius . Perhaps Barrett's most 'troubling' and 'disturbing' song is Have You Got It Yet ? from the c.1971 sessions for a third solo album (which was incomplete , and shelved until c.1988 ) .
  24. Thanks much for the new-to-me info regarding the Chevy 1500 Pickup . I know that the monster truck -- USA-1 et al. -- version , um , "compromised" the stock versions' tooling . I've never perused the monster iterations of the C 1500 , so I've nothing to compare it to . Thanks again .
  25. I wonder if there's any realistic chance of the c.1990 C-1500 SS 454 making a comeback ? I'd missed its first (and only) go 'round... AMC Matador Coupe (1975-1978) would be sweet , too . This time include headers ; tool up a brake master cylinder , too ! I'm sure that the headers from the Gremlin kits would work , but it's be nice to have them included in the Matador . Oh , and those headlights with the sink marks -- please clean that up , or "blank" them and add clear , fluted replacements .
