I'd love to see Daniel's Mojave Mule (Chevy LUV), S'cool Bus, and Vandal. Yes, I realise that the LUV was reissued recently (in different guise), and the bus and the van have been reissued relatively recently (to me, 10 years ago is recent), but I'd passed on them for whatever reasons.

I'd like to see the Demon receive the same upgrades/updates as the Coronet (new 340 engine, with matching - and corresponding - Torqueflite, and corrected front clip). I built the tow truck version of the Datsun pickup when it was new (c.1981), and I'd had a difficult time with it (I was 11 or 12). I'd built the stock versions of the same truck from 1977-1979 with zero issues -- must be the different frame, separate front clip, and the interference between the rear wheels and rear wheel openings -- something easily worked around these days (i.e., not purely OOB build).

I agree for the most part regarding the bumpers (especially the 1974 & later 'Highway Work Truck' bumpers), but that example of the Vauxhall looks like a stoned toad trying to bum a smoke from you outside of the pub.

How neato would it be for Round2 to include the D.O.H.C. 426 Hemi in the hardtop version of this kit? Too late to include it in the convertible, but not for the hardtop (through the lens of the untrained me). May as well also tool up a Dana 60 for the hardtop while they're at it -- and/or tool up a separate Torqueflite for the D.O.H.C.

Tamiya Rubber Black is the best match, IMO. Styrene tyres can actually look better (more realistic) than the vinyl/rubber versions. The paint is available in both aerosol and bottle; I have one of each. Nice Chevette, BTW. I have this exact kit in the stash. So many extra, diorama parts!

I dig your '68 Acadian (Astro Jet 350 under the bonnet?), and I remember your '72 Demon 340 in TB3 Super Blue. The only differences that I'm aware of between the '68 and '69 dashboard is that the '68 has the ignition on the dashboard; the steering wheel is also a '68-only item, too (the AMT 1968 SS-396 El Camino has the correct one). I can't speak to the rest of the 1968-only items, other than the grille (CHEVY II emblem), SUPER SPORT emblems on the forward portion of the rocker panels, and that drum brakes were standard (last year for drums on a SS Nova).

I've been saying this since high school (during the younger-generations-now-look-at-them-through-rose-coloured-glasses 1980s). Auto Shop was a joke by the time I got to H.S. in 1985, reduced to book work and un-applied theory. A certain. um, prevailing mindset at that time defunded programmes such a Crafts and Trades, but mysteriously the sports programmes survived unscathed. A real head-scratcher. There's is hope: a fellow who's much younger than me is a gear head par excellence. He and his brother have: - 1969 Dart Custom four door - 1972 Swinger (360/4-speed, and a Ram Rod shifter!) - 1974 Duster with a 340 (originally a 225) The two of them perform their own work, including body work. But, yes, I was 'Born To Lose' for sure. I had zero interest in "technology" (I could draw faster than those stupid CAD things could - again, 1985 - and with considerably less steps); zero interest in college (my poor grades kept me from pursuing medical and/or sciences); and, as a conscientious objector, no interest in the military branches. But, I digress... My 2nd cousins attended high school in a Los Angeles suburb; a school which offered {{{GaSp!}}} Carpentry and Auto Shop! And this was recently (the last one having graduated in 2021). Thank you, @Ace-Garageguy, for sharing this sweet video!

That kit is ancient, dating to at least 1966. The yearly changes to the 1:1 were carried to the scale replica (this one is a product of MPC) were all that was done -- same chassis, different bodies. Flat black was a popular customising paint finish in Sweden back in the 1980s, as far as I am able to remember. Keep going with your project. Continue to have fun building !

Great work! Ever seen a 300-B with the 3-speed manual? Rare as. The Powerflite (A-466 two-speed) and Torqueflite (A-488, 1956-1961) were cast iron. The aluminium-cast 904 came along for 1960, with the aluminium-cast 727 coming along for 1962.

I can still see the billboard for the 1974 film Earthquake! in my head, almost 50 years ago. I was 4 years old, the 1971 Sylmar Earthquake still in me mind (I was 10 months old when that one hit). I believed it to be a warning of another earthquake, and was aghast that it was being advertised! Haha. I was standing in the back of my parents' 1969 Dart, straddling the driveshaft tunnel, staring out the window. I saw that billboard, and my verbal reaction was "s_it !" My folks weren't happy about my first swear word -- I remember saying, "I hear dad say that word all of the time." So, yeah, the billboard ad for Earthquake! is my favourite.

Tom Hoover wanted for the Street Hemi to have either a big single four barrel or the Six Barrel [et al.] induction, but corporate said no. **CORRECTION/AMENDMENT** Here's the box art for the '66 Fury (see image). I've only seen it one other time, many years ago -- the red-white-blue paint scheme is what me memory think, Sox & Martin. Apparently my recollection is correct.
