  1. Thanks Nick. If I do the other hood, all I would need is the two “six pack” decals for the scoop.
  2. Thanks. Actually that splotch on the top is the tab that fastens it to the sheet metal.
  3. Haha. Good point. Those impulse buyers are out there, and some of these sellers know it.
  4. Ahh ok I didn’t know that. I assumed they were the wedge.
  5. Looking good. Nice interior. Did you dislike the 426 max wedge engine, or just wanted a hemi? I have the Color Me Gone on the bench, and I think the wedge engine looks terrible.
  6. I can never figure out why an open kit will have a few bids on it, when some other seller will have the same exact kit sealed, as “buy it now” for less money. I guess they are too lazy to search?
  7. Let’s toss this out there, and see if anyone bites? And the sad thing is, someone will most likely buy it at some point. I believe some people actually do have more money than brains.
  8. Thank you. Did a bit of under hood detailing. Maybe I’ll finish it all up tomorrow.
  9. You are very welcome, Keith. Now that I think back, it was pretty confusing for me too. IIRC, I even took a break from it because of the front suspension. Have fun and be sure to post pics when it’s finished.
  10. Sorry for the mistakes. I tried to circle the part but I messed up when I tried posting. But here it is now.
  11. Those black brackets that fasten to the frame, are fastened to brackets on each side of the oil pan.
  12. Thanks. All tires, wheels, brake drums, and rotors are from the Revell 90 Mustang LX Drag Car Kit. Tire decals are from Slixx.
  13. Looks like a nice project. Definitely some vintage styrene there. Hopefully Fireball will have those carburetors out soon.
  14. Thank you everyone. It was a real fun build.
  15. Thanks for the nice replies everyone.
  16. Thanks for all the positive replies everyone.
  17. This is the stance it has, which looks pretty good, I think.
  18. Keith, you don’t use that piece. Unless you don’t want the tubular k frame. I remember my engine seemed like it sat in there pretty sloppy, but as the build came together it all worked out. It was a bit confusing and I also remember the struts being a pain too. Here is a pic of mine. Hope it helps.
  19. Glad to see that bad boy engine fits nicely between the wells!
  20. It’s been a while since I worked on the Superbee. I got side tracked with a Duster, but got some work done on it today. Almost near completion. Still have the rad support, front and rear lights and bumpers, and that big ole Superbee trunk decal. Since I have an extra hood, I was thinking on having one hood closed, and one with the four corner legs for displaying the engine. I would need an extra set of the scoop decals as I only have one set. Not sure what I want to do. If I can score another set of scoop decals I most likely will go with the extra hood. Hats off to Chief Joseph (Fireball Modelworks) on his beautiful carbs, AND red stripe tires, and A12 rims and lugnuts. I have some of his dog dish hub caps and wheels I’ll be using on a 64 Dodge 426 max wedge car that’s on the bench. Anyway, here are a few updates on what it should look like.
  21. Very nice, clean build. That engine looks fantastic. Nice color choice also. Those carbs make a world of difference on that engine. I’m using them on my Superbee build.
  22. AMT 68 Roadrunner. Was a quick build I completed a few months ago. Sits a bit low for my liking, but that will be corrected on the 69 A12 I am currently working on.
  23. Here is another build that kind of side tracked me from my eight others going on. Was chipping away at all of them, but once I started this Duster, I just kept on it until it was done. I’m not building as much as I would like with constant back pain. Just a weekend racer with a SB 340, aluminum heads, and some ignition and suspension upgrades. Decals were not in the best shape, but I think they turned out decent.
