  1. Tyrone, the paint looks fantastic! Using an airbrush definitely give more control and allows for a thinner, and more in scale paint job. Great work on the chassis! Mike.
  2. Tyrone, This is a beautiful build, one of your best yet! It looks like the real thing under the hood. It's hard to believe this is a 1/25 scale car. What color are you planning on for this one? If you don't have any color in mind yet, might I suggest a Candy Blue over silver. A friend had a couple of Camaros back in the day, '67 & '68, that were both candy blue over silver. The '67 was the street car and the '68 was a Super Pro Bracket car he ran at Englishtown, NJ. That color really looked great on Camaros. How does this Revell Camaro body compare to the AMT 67/68 Camaro bodies? It looks accurate in the pictures but I haven't picked one of these up yet. Mike.
  3. Thanks for the chassis pictures! It came out beautiful!
  4. Very Nice build Darryl! Can you post a picture of the chassis?
  5. Nice job so far on these! So which do you prefer, the AMT Phantom Econoline or the MPC Econoline? Are both bodies about the same?
  6. Beautiful work Stan! How about a duel carb setup sticking slightly out of the hood. Not to obvious like a blower but still says Pro Street. Mike.
  7. Will you be selling these in Resin?
  8. Can you post some pictures of your SMBC Pinto kit? Mike.
  9. Beautiful job!
  10. Chris, Beautiful job so far! The chassis work is fantastic. I built a couple of models of a friend's bracket car(68 Camaro) back in the '80's that he raced at Raceway Park in New Jersey. I hope to build another model of his car one day soon but haven't gotten around to that yet. Mike.
  11. I did get the body but have since turned my attention to other projects. One day I'll get to building this one.
  12. Great start Tyrone! BTW, how is the Revell body compared to the AMT kit?
  13. Excellent paint job! BTW, was this generation Ford van ever made into a styrene kit? I don't remember seeing any. I'd like to build one as a shorty wheelbase.
  14. Nice job! BTW, what paint/color did you paint the body?
  15. There aren't any pictures showing.
  16. Paul, This is a fantastic build so far! You are taking a not so good kit and turning it into something wonderful. I love the work you've done on the interior. The dash is creative and fits the rest of the build. I really like the use of the body color throughout. It just ties everything together nicely. This is what Pro Street cars are all about. Mike.
  17. Excellent job Byron! Everything looks in scale and real. Mike.
  18. Looks great so far Billy! I can't wait to see this one progress. Mike.
  19. Wayne, I can't wait to see this one get built! BTW, what types of glue and paints work on these Shapeways products? Mike.
  20. It came out great! I like that shot of the interior. Mike.
  21. The body work came out perfect Brandon! The re-paint blends right in. Mike.
  22. I just searched the internet and that looks to be a Chrysler A833 4 speed manual transmission. I believe Chrysler only named the Automatic transmission Torqueflite. Maybe some more knowledgable Chrysler guys can spread some light on this.
  23. The distributor is beautiful as is the rest of the work you did on the engine! Great job! However that's not a 727 Torqueflite. It's a manual transmission. I'm not 100% sure which one though. Mike.
  24. Stan, This is a beautiful build! The paint came out perfect. BTW, I like the way you opened up the grill. Mike.
