AMT '58 Plymouth Belvedere CHRISTINE kit
57peppershaker replied to cooltoys1's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I have 1 of the pro shop, pre-painted issues, still unbuilt. The 'Darnells tonight' decal is fantastic. If anybody wont use this, I will be pleased to trade for it. I dont really want to buy another kit, just for that decal sheet. I built Dennis's Charger from a General Lee kit about 20 years ago & planned a figure of Dennis scratching Christines hood diarama. The fact both kits have inaccuracys doesnt worry me. This was on another site, sadly not my build, but its fantastic ! -
Tuck n roll ?
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks for the great info Michael, would never have thought of using silicone. I'll have to look for something more 1;12 to use as a mould. -
I've got a 1;12 57 Chevy thats been part built for a long time. 1 reason was the interior. What can I use to replicate tuck n roll on the seats ?

AMT 57 Chevy Bel Air Review Needed
57peppershaker replied to CEKPETHO BCE's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
It was still in there Dan, tho not sure about the latest blue stock only issue ? PM me if you want a top, though they are showing their age now, if you de-chrome them & remove the mould line they can look ok. -

Yup, same kit with all same parts as the yellow car edition. Cant remember if you get Pepper Shaker decals in yellow one, but there is a slightly different sheet in the brown one. -

Nicks right, the latest blue car is stock only. Still a good kit tho, with a lot of options. Great for building a 210 version. Also comes with Cragar wheels. Here's a couple of built pics. Stocker is mine, Pepper Shaker was found on net. Sadly my original Pepper Shaker was smashed in a house move years ago, although Im planning a new version. -
Anybody got pics of 07 Crown Victoria's they have built ? Or anybody added a kit engine ? I'm looking at replacing the moulded 'flat' engine with running gear from a 07 Shelby Mustang to created an all black unmarked sleeper. Anybody already done it ?

Very nice, love 57 Junior Stocks. Got a few to do myself, also with Ricks decals. -
I've got a couple of 1;25 die-cast Testors / Motormax 07 Crown Victoria's. They only come with minimal details, ie moulded 'flat' platform type engine ect. Was thinking of junking it & replacing with running gear from an 07 Mustang. Has anybody already done something similar ? Pics or advice would be helpfull.

Thats VERY nice !

Has anybody kitbashed a Dodge Monaco with a 71 (?) Plymouth gtx / Satalite ? Just wondered if its a possible to come up with a Satalite cop car or its never going to work or look right ?

Heres a couple of quick pics of what I have on display. Many more are waiting to be finished. Mix of plastic & die-cast. Blue coupe is latest from couple of years ago, red sedan is earliest from 25 + years ago ! Sadly my original Pepper Shaker build was destroyed when moving house years back. A Pepper Shaker 2 is on the build list Finishing my 1;1 57 meant kits went on back burner for a while.

Thats very nice. What are the wheels from ? Some great 57's here. I'll take a few pics of mine, though most are old builds now.

Hi Pierre Great looking Chevelle (reserve judgement on the renault lol) SBC or BBC in it ? Running a SBC in the UK is not cheap either. But like yours, my 57 only comes out on sunny weekends.
-
WOW that is sharp. Gotta love an orange 57 Chevy (not that I'm biased or anything )
-
I gotta agree with this, though I'm shamefull to admit I owned 1 for a while. It had a square steering wheel (no, I'm not kidding) & was slow, underpowered & awfull. I lived in a pub at the time (working not drinking lol) so thankfully didnt have to use it much. I'm sure most UK guys will agree that UK produced BL cars in the 70's were pretty awfull !

Love the 4 door 210. R & R body ?

That looks very nice. Be interested in trading the RR steels if you didnt use them, I'm near Dartford. Steve

Tom, that looks very similar, least it has the standard hood with hood rockets. Mine was flat, let me know if its any use to you. I've never seen another rc sedan delivery, keep watching ebay ect.
