  1. Whoohoo we already have a four page thread on that entire flier that's literally two threads below this new one your created?
  2. The regular '69 Corvette 427 Coupe kit already has the that hood in it, they just need to reissue it with a Yenko decal to make the yellow car. The last reissue of it in the California Wheels boxing had the side-pipes and B/M hood as part of the "Custom" version included, but I don't know which set of wheels it came with, as I still have an original "429" Coupe misprint floating around that I haven't got past building part of the chassis on a long time ago.
  3. Nobody needs to vote for anything in terms of the RX-7. Casey's original post said 2n1, so it'll be both the stock and Café racer in the same box. Similar to what Revell did with the Porsche 914 reissue recently.
  4. Stitched together with bad Photoshop? Suburbans didn't become four door vehicles until 1973.
  5. Not only is that mess a curbside, it's also sized to fit a generic chassis plate that it shares with the Mercedes 190E and a few other kits, and is general is a wildly misproportioned thing that is one of Fujimi's worst efforts in terms of body. Beemax can render it obsolete and after these M3s sell like proverbial pancakes, they can go back and make the racing version of the 190E as a companion kit. They're doing that with the AE92 Corolla Levin Gr. A car they're doing next that was the biggest competition to the the '88/'89 Civic EF3 Gr. A kit they released earlier.
  6. The Yenko Corvette if based off the yellow one Mike posted is the biggest no brainer cheap use of a licensing I've seen - and that's a good thing. They already have a regular (non B/M) '69 Corvette (the one that was famously a 429 in the first boxing) kit that they just need to add a couple of decals to, and *POOF* new kit.
  7. I'd be happy to see RevellAG continue their DTM line, even if the most recent three kit "set" didn't get a terribly large amount of aftermarket livery support outside the M3. However considering the fact Revell keeps goofing up basic parts, I don't know why you'd want the American based branch to make anything modern at this point. The brakes on this kit being engraved in the inverse of their actually pattern - all the vents are raised lumps rather than engraved vents is a huge deal and nobody seems to care. I mean geezus you can see they're wrong on that box art photo from August. For being a bunch of supposed gear heads it's a shame that apparently no one in Elk Grove has seen a set of racing brakes before...but then this isn't the first time they've engraved stuff backward. All of the "bomber" interior door panels on the '30 Ford are inverted engraving as well. A great deal of time and effort - and frankly money if you wanna make it look right - is going to be required to make a simple 64 part kit presentable since the brakes so clearly show through the wheels. But if you're O.K. with brake rotors that would be wildly ineffective in actually stopping the car while shaking it to pieces in the process, keep shoveling money at them to reward them for such attention to detail and simplified dreck being foisted on their customers.
  8. Later this month, along with the Bronco.
  9. Yeah but as you mention those guys have been going to 3RAM for decades now with the same stuff. So they kick $20 for a table and 3 bucks for a couple of hot dogs... I gotta pay MY gas and admission to get in to see the same stuff AGAIN as well. eBay doesn't cost me anything to sit in my basement and scroll listings so everyone is being enabled by free.
  10. The thing about PJ is (and I'm in no way defending him, just stating a fact) is he has over 8k feedback with a 100% Positive Feedback. That's almost unheard of for someone with a decent amount of sales. Go look at most hobby shops who have an eBay "storefront", and almost all of then are like 99.8% because someone, somewhere left a negative feedback. I can only presume some of the people I see complain about eBay prices haven't been to (or may not have) their local model shows. Cause anyone who attends regularly (even if it's just the same event every year) can quickly point out the "Traveling Kit Museum". The guy who schleps the same over priced "vintage" kits in EVERY SINGLE SHOW and never sells any of them. You kinda wonder if he even WANTS to sell any of them, or if he's just showing off.
  11. In real life? No. That's the mixing of parts from the TX DPS issue of the Police Charger kit, and the SRT-8 Superbee kit.
  12. ...yet this is the same crowd that regularly buys kits of junk they already have multiple copies of just because the box art is so Retro Deluxe. You can't have it both ways. Either the box art inspires you to make a purchase, or they should just package stuff like the 1980s black print on white box generic grocery items 1957 Chevrolet Post Sedan - 1 Model Kit - 1/25 Scale Frankly the drawings look better than the real model photo shopped into a real background as seen by the Lowrider Cadillac and KW-100. I guess things are just so shoe string at EGV anymore they can only have college interns do it in their spare time since the drawings and real model on real backdrops represent the 2nd & 3rd style of box art this year.
  13. If the GT LM class car is close enough to duplicate the GT3 endurance racer that Callaway builds, and some good quality liveries are done, I might consider getting one. The factory team and their bland yellow cars don't do a thing for me personally, and they're outside the scope of my racing collection.
  14. The trailer being kitted is the one with a 5 Meter (15'/180") deck and a rated capacity of 2,600kg (5,732 lbs) I once owned a 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury police car. That land yacht with all it's glorious cop parts including a 440 rode on a 121" wheelbase and was 4,990lbs. Meaning it would fit on the trailer. I will not debate UK trailer laws in regards to weights, legal overhangs, etc. But an American car, a huge 4 door one at that can and would fit on the A4. It's quite possible you couldn't legally move it afterwards. But the one being kitted is designed for professional car transport and motorsports, not the casual relocation of an MG.
  15. It's a whole whopping 64 parts, so "somewhat simplified" continues to carry the day for any modern vehicle tooling in Elk Grove Village.
  16. The curbside chassis is NOT in the glue kit. The poster said that shot was from Wayne, NJ which where the NNL East is held and it's a test shot of the tooling, which as others have mentioned is all cut at the same time and then chopped up/gated off as necessary for each particular variant. One thing seeing the test shot reminded me of from looking at my kit is I like how no one is saying "Boo" about the driveshaft being molded to the chassis. Is that one of those major breakthroughs, adopting Japanese curbside molding techniques?
  17. Discontinued doesn't necessarily mean out of stock. https://www.mediamixhobby.com.sg/shop/shkd198.html
  18. Shunko Models did a reprint of that decal sheet.
  19. Bought one from my LHS last Tuesday @$22.50.
  20. Maybe they're trying to fix the body and glass pieces so they actually fit into one another without a days worth of sand and reshaping...
  21. Well at least all you guys who keep slicing your fingers open, or embedding them in your legs will be able to see how bad the wound is, in brilliant LED light.
  22. There are a couple of big shows coming up in Austria & The Netherlands at the end of next month that RevellAG has listed on their events page. I suspect we shall see near production level versions of all 3 (4 if you count the 2nd livery) new tool 1/24 kits.
  23. $26.95?!?!? You guys charge LIST? Geez I hope you at least got some sort of employee discount cause I just picked up the full tilt boogie glue kit for 4 1/2 bucks less. (SnapIt priced @$19.50)
  24. Much like the other LRW reissues, it is a 2n1, still carrying all the of the factory stock parts for people just wanting the pickup without making it into a exhibition drag vehicle.
  25. The Dodge Fever is out now. My LHS has it on the shelves. Just the same ole IMC A-100 with new decals.
