    Monkee

i agree it looks great. could use a bigger wheel in the rear though.
  2. Ha ha, looks cool.
  3. not only a nicely built charger, but beautifully photographed too
  4. this came out very nice
  5. nice car to have in 1:1 and has a very 70s look with those FAT rear tires. awesome!
  6. i like it. very good mainstreamer
  7. i agree, wow. it's got some nice touches
  8. nice stocker. works well for those old cars
  9. My guess is the Revell offering. challenging and also has that stumpy, short look. any way, you did a fine job and marks a fine beggining. i quite like the white interior. door handles need to be chrome.
  10. This makes no sense to me. Warner Bros Co owns all the rights to the movie, the owner of the car itself should have no bearing on the license.
  11. The bottom of the seat is still in the aoshima kit, molded to the interior floor. it's a pity because for an accurate RW car, you need to remove the rear seat bottom. (i just turned it upside-down, so it looks like a floor).
  12. I think it's fine now. if it were mine, i'd the B pillar black like in this photo (glass post of the door)
  13. nice work. still, you can always rip it apart in a few years.
  14. 7 years? i think it's about time you rebuilt it with your newly aquired skillz.
  15. Nice build. looks very factory stock i'm glad the batmobile is now available as a separate kit, we can now see these built as they should be.
  16. looks good, just don't go with the Japanese 'VIP' Style angled wheels. (put them on straight instead). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VIP_style
  17. This is my model of Silvester Stallone's F100. I started with the Monogram 1/24 55 F100 street machine kit. I chopped the top by 3 scale inches and extended it by 2. I added the hood scoops with styrene rod and the vents to the dash. I did new door cards and painted them in grey and black. The grille is different, so i pinched the one from my 56, and also the tailgate was swapped to match the Ford font. The grille came from my Grease Lightning model. I made new floor mats with the SS logo. The tray was tubbed to fit the wider Aoshima club linea rims. The rear axle was reworked several times to try and get it right, eventually rebuilt it to a different configuration. The front was lowered 3-4 inches. The engine was built with photoetched rocker cover and aircleaner and a wired distributor. Interior got new seats from a supra and a new center console. You can see the rest of the buildup pictures here
  18. it's an eye-popping build, definately worth a look
  19. Since i enjoyed the other 'year in review' posts, i thought i'd do my own. Want more details on any build, just ask. 20. I don't think a lot of kits are made to be 'modular' in that the engine is often spread over several sprues and mixed with suspension parts, instead of being all contained so they can put any engine or any wheels in any kit.
  21. i disagree, the charger wouldn't be quite as world-wide famous if it wasn't for the show and not nearly as desirable. besides, at the time they were just 8-9 year old cars (would you cry over a 2002 dodge stratus being destroyed for a fun tv show?)
  22. mee too
  23. hmm, interesting. not quite sure where you're going with it, but will keep an eye on it. hint: to to the black bar at the top of the page and click your username and choose 'My Content' from the list. it'll give you a list of everything you've posted.
  24. since AFX resin is no more, i'm hoping someone will step up and produce a few sets...
