  1. Exterminators is a low budget Mad Max post apocalyptic movie from 1983. The model is an Otaki 1/24 Ford Thunderbird that i rebuilt in red primer and added weathering and dust effects along with some accessories like protective bars and a 'scanner' in the hood. i DSCF0172 by aus_mus, on Flickr ilgiustizieredellastradamkv_snapshot_000445_20150419_204924 by aus_mus, on Flickr DSCF0173 by aus_mus, on Flickr DSCF0174 by aus_mus, on Flickr DSCF0175 by aus_mus, on Flickr DSCF0176 by aus_mus, on Flickr
  2. that's a very eye-catching paint job
  3. i did mine with the heat/bend method and it looked unrealistic, so tried a foiled impression replacement and this looks much better i got some heavy foil (it was sealing a beverage can). this was pressed over the straight panel. i then bent it up, then back filled with bondo to hold it's shape. Since the foil is silver, any where it is scratched shows as metal. a bit of grey and black will help the look. if you want primer to show through, sticking some poster tack or liquid mask before top coat. eleanor01 by aus_mus, on Flickr eleanor02 by aus_mus, on Flickr eleanor03 by aus_mus, on Flickr eleanor04 by aus_mus, on Flickr eleanor05 by aus_mus, on Flickr eleanor11 by aus_mus, on Flickr

  12. yellowsportwagon, awesome build of a factory correct XB falcon. we don't see many of these here. I've got one of those Model 56 diecasts. they are not very accurate and not very well made. I used the body to make the Road Warrior 'Bat xa' car.
