  1. Good choice on the new wheels and tires, I think those will work much better. Glad to see this one pop back up.
  2. Did they just start the wire reinforcement?mi got one a while ago and have been reluctant to use it because of how flimsy it feels
  3. Yeah that's the boat I'm in too..
  4. Really like the style of your builds, nice job
  5. This is pretty neat. Makes me want to build a van now
  6. Man I need to get up on this 3d printing thing.. I need a set of wheels to match my 1:1 grand sport Great work so far!
  7. Thanks guys! Having fun with this one even though I can seem to get a clear direction. I think it boils down to to many ideas and not enough time. Sometimes I get ideas and I want to "save" them for the next project too. Although even that seems silly..
  8. Trying to get a idea of the final direction of this thing, trying a few tire and wheels options
  9. Time to catch up, albeit I didn't make much progress.. I "think" I'm going with the coupe body still.. Put the quick change back in the parts bin, and started making a new rear, pulled the center from a revell 32 9 inch and added some 1/8th inch rod, I'll trim these later when I know how wide I need Took a break from the chassis and focused on the body for a bit, I cut the trunk out since I was going to have to rescribe the lines anyway, I skinned the edges in styrene while I was at it to get a square opening. Trimmed up a revell 32 deck lid to fit, don't mind the fit, I just set it in there. Here you can kinda see where I am going with this, I'll probably extend the chassis and hang some bag mounts off of there. I also had a little fun on that rear cross member.
  10. You have been a busy guy lately, this has always been one I wanted to see finished
  11. Tuning into this one too!
  12. I always enjoy your builds, thanks for sharing
  13. Love this one, what kind of glue did you use on the blanket to hold the thread together?
  14. Pretty sweet, I love different. Always wanted to try something like this, thanks for sharing.
  15. The ls9 is available as a crate motor, as far as I'm concerned that is a viable option for what we are doing. If someone is ponying up the coin for a crate motor like that, the only reason not to get a ls9 is cost. Most lsa conversions will probably come from wrecked cars out in the 1:1 world A magnason supercharger is a pretty common blower too, in fact probably more popular than a ls9 or lsa. Most would probably go ls3 and a Maggie really.
  16. I figure I was about to build the chassis again anyway, so I'll just keep this one for the pickup body, and start I over on the coupe
  17. I moved the motor back, both options have the same room.. I'd have to lengthen the wheelbase body to use the coupe body. I think I might just press forward with both.
  18. Jellous, I've always wanted a couple of these
