  4. So I got back at this one for a bit tonight. Making some good progress. until knocked the darn side window outta it! I swear this thing is fighting me. So it sits like this till at least tomorrow...
  5. hood is back in the primer then paint stage, I missed some sink marks by the hinge area
  6. Safe to assume your using a very good plotter for the cutting of your vinyl? I have one that I use illustrator to create vectors for stickers and paint masks. But I couldn't imagine the machine I have creating cuts that small. I'm interested In the process a bit, although I think I grasp the basic concept. Safe to assume you are having to mask each side? That's the part I'm really intrigued by, how do you line that up so well if so? Amazing work really.. I wish I had better words for this build.
  7. Amazing start, just the inspiration I was looking for to start my roadster. Thanks for sharing!
  8. I really like this one
  9. Had to shave most of the lip off the front, and I raised the windshield as high as I could, I'm sure I had to do something wrong, I haven't seen anyone else have issue?
  10. Yeah, my modeling hobby kinda crashed into my RC hobby, and I've built quite a few scale RC crawlers or trail rigs.
  11. front window wont let the body rest in place and is hitting the dash *edit, got it fixed I think by shaving the dash. That was a little tedious since it was assembled and painted.
  12. Well I gave the window trim and beltline trim another shot, dcided I liked it this time. threw the windows in, and while they were drying I started assembly on the interior.
  13. thanks for the kind words, I'm still not 100% sure on that air cleaner, but I kinda like it for the options I have here. Since we brought it up, I thought it would be fun to share my workshop. It is a mess right now, Its in desperate need of a re organization.
  14. I'm pretty meticulous about keeping it clean in there. Have a few hobbies so it can get outta control quickly. It's a little messy for me at the moment if you would believe that. I find I spend more time organizing than building sometimes, however that lets me focus on my builds when I get going.
  15. making progress on the engine detail this morning.
