UGH!? I was having a hard time and it looks like...yes..I did. lol? I didn't even realize it. I will put all updates in the other thread since it has more responses.

I bumped a shelf, and 3 trucks took a 4 foot dive to the floor. I decided that it would be therapeutic to open a fresh kit and build it. Here is the start of an amt Kenworth W925 being built as an actual W925. Hence the torsion bar suspension. I got this suspension from P and P Resin. I changed cross member #4 to the proper cross member for this suspension. I still have to add the rest of the parts for the suspension. The black marks on the bottom of the frame rails are where the bars mount. The other mods I've made are to move the passenger side fuel tank back so that I can can put a second battery/tool box on the passenger side. In case you noticed the 2 narrow cross members are missing, the kit's transmission set up is being saved for another truck. The W9 is my favorite truck, so it's about time I build one.

2 weeks ago, I was cleaning my hobby room and had an incident. I was moving my desk and bumped a shelf and it fell. It contained 3 trucks, and on the way down the tractor for this project was damaged. The 3 fallen trucks will now be "organ donors" on future builds. As for this one, I will come up with something.

The line for the winch is fishing line.

Here are some progress pix of the winch tower. The winch itself, and the upper section of the tower is from an amt Pete wrecker kit. The top part is a cut down section of a ramp from a Revell of Germany car carrier trailer. The rest is just sprue. The beacon lights are from Auslowe.

Cool project. As for the real wood deck, it's very easy with this trailer. I took one of the kit's "wood deck" pieces with me to Michael's since they sell wood strips by Revell. I don't have a measurement or part #, though. I just matched it up with what was there. This is how mine turned out:

This is the first tandem L700 I've ever seen. The monster truck is pretty cool.
