  1. I'm glad things didn't go any worse. In my 18 years as a driver my biggest fear was unexpected objects falling from overpasses. Though, I usually thought about things thrown by vandals, not trailers coming loose. Again, I'm glad the driver is alright.
  2. Your color choices are spot on for an Overnite truck. The overall build looks great, especially the engine.
  3. I found a model railroad color that looks very close. Tru Color TCP-116 Wisconsin Central Gold.
  4. I learned a lot from this thread. I have the KW sleeper from AITM and I notice that compared to the amt kit sleeper it's shorter in height. Is that accurate or is this sleeper casting too short?
  5. Thanks. That does look fairly close. Let me know if you remember the name.
  6. The truck in the video is a nice one. In some videos it is pulling some type of lowbed trailer.
  7. I have a set of United Van lines decals for the livery used from the 1950s until the early 1970s. It's when the trucks were white and gold. I'm trying to find a good match for the gold. Any thoughts on a good match? Hopefully my attachments are showing up.
  8. Outstanding!! Very realistic. I also thought you posted pix of the real equipment to show us your inspiration.Amazing work.
  9. I always thought that was a vent but I wasn't sure. Thanks for posting the article. I love reading the articles from back then. Bucky, I'm curious to see where this goes as the W900 Aerodyne has always been my favorite truck. The kit represents a '76-'81 and GPS tracking systems first showed on trucks in the late '80s.
  10. That is a really nice Pete. Seeing the woman next to it reminds me of the old OVERDRIVE magazine covers.
  11. It's been awhile since I added to this thread so here's myWhite Freightliner day cab and reefer.
  12. Nice job on this one. Can you give me a hint as to how you made the cab entry rail? I've been trying to figure out how to make this rail for a 352 I want to build. Thanks
  13. I hope things go better for you. I'm curious to see where you go with this one.
  14. This is pretty interesting. I have never seen an extended cowl.
  15. These are available now. I picked up a couple of them for future projects. It comes with a nice expanded decal sheet.
  16. This is a really nice build. This truck isn't one we see modeled very often.
