  1. J, Thats what I needed to know. Thanks
  2. Hey all, I stripped the chrome from my Monogram Duesy Phaeton and Town Car, Horrible shape. I plan on repainting with Alclad chrome. I usually use Tamiya gloss Black to undercoat my parts, HOWEVER, and this is my question... the parts are already molded in glossy black plastic...so, do I still have to undercoat them, or, can I spray straight Alclad on the parts....? Will the Alclad cover just the bare black plastic? Thanks, Cheers, Ian
  3. Mine would have to be patience and paint jobs, and finishing a project... I get going on a project, and when it comes to painting, I ###### out, especially now that I don't have a dedicated paint area any more. I haven't finished anything in almost two years. Serious modelers block. Its frustrating
  4. Looks like a full size mockup. Clay, maybe
  5. George, I tried that some time ago with no results, but it has been a while, I suppose I could try again Cheers, Ian
  6. Hey all, I stumbled across this guy while Googling Pontiac Grand Prix cars. He seems to specialize in resin Pontiac bodies, particularly the Grand Prix.. From the pictures I've seen online. the quality seems pretty good.. He offers a 1964 GP body that interests me I was just wondering if anyone has bought any of his stuff, and how can he be contacted.. Thanks, Cheers, Ian
  7. I wonder if he could cast me a resin hood for one of my '65 Grand Prix?
  8. Ok, how about a Woody Wagon?
  9. I used to stand at the end of my Dad's workbench and watch him build the old '60s issue Monogram kits. He built armor, aircraft, cars, didn't make a difference to him. He never painted anything, he would just build them, and put the decals on When the glue was dry, he would give them to me to play with..needless to say, they didn't last long.. I was 5 or 6 at the time.. I started building on my own when I was about 9, and those first models were absolute crimes, but god, I had fun Great memories.. Cheers, Ian
