Not that I have any skin in the game but I've always thought a fun CBP theme would be vehicles named after physical places; Monte Carlo, Denali, Mercury, (Ferrari) California, Galaxie, Europa, (Taurus?), Fairlane, Eldorado, Caprice (Ghana), Daytona, Malibu, Bonneville, Comet (of your choosing), Torino, Polara, Bel Air, Plymouth, Riviera, Tudor, etc, etc. If you Google enough you could probably find someplace named after almost anything. Heck, you could make the argument that a vehicle with just a number could be a physical address, but you would have to state the address. "Cannonball GPS."

Just curious, is there a way for viewers to track the voting or do we just wait for your announced results? -
2023 Cannonball Run-What-You-Brung Build Thread
Lunajammer replied to White Rabbit's topic in Community Builds
I think you've done a great job Enzo running this CBP in an orderly, informed and engaging way. I nominate White Rabbit to run the next Cannonball. All in favor say, "Aye." The ayes have it. You're in ?. -
The most important dos is participation. Show your work along the way and support the work of others. A group build is a community affair and without actively participating, it's just building a model. Be courteous and have fun.

To that store's credit, it stayed open years longer than I ever expected and only closed because the owner died. He as much told me that he wasn't making any money. So glasses raised to him and his memory for keeping the doors open just for the love of the small hobby business and the people he served.

Love the creativity and that fussy engine is dazzling.

Jeez Chuck, you've been busy. Considering the slab sided nature of the Lincoln, the straight windshield was probably the way to go anyway. The pipe bumper validates it.

How to make a rubber tire looks like flat.

I'd like to see a couple tutorial photos or more elaborate description. This looks like the kind of thing that could really wreck something if the technique or tool is misunderstood. -
This is a good old kit. Should just about fall together for you.

Kits you can't seem to have enough of.

I somehow gravitate toward '53 Chevies; about 4 or 5 in boxes, 3 glue bombs, 3 started, 0 finished. -
I LOVE RADICAL customs. Some real clever ideas here, many. Excellent work and wonderful photography. I approve.

This is my favorite for my own sick reasons; laughable photoshopping, poor photography AND the product only occupies about 20-percent of the cover from an angle that doesn't let the modeler see what the body looks like. Yes, it could have intended to be campy, but it's funnier believing it wasn't. I love it.

It's a delight to see such an unusual subject done so nicely. -
I admire your commitment to keep with it through the years. Your interest in the subject really paid off. Nice work.

There's some nice detail here, especially in how you see reflected light. Good work.

This is lovely. Those wheels are fun aren't they if you want colored spokes? -

These are the kind of radical customs that really get me jazzed. Hope you stay with it and that the project is good to you. -
What is it please?

Beautiful Brian. Some sophisticated color choices there. The '69 rims are perfect.
