Had a great time! and looking forward to the next one. A special thanks to Danno, and his team! Having a behind the scenes look at the dominos falling into place, sometimes at just the right moment, was not for the week of heart! Great job Dan, Hal, Bernie Tim, and all involve. Thanks -

I got so frustrated trying to build this kit that I actually. twisted the chassis in half and thru it in the box.......after the little 9 year oldish hissy fit.....I went to the trash can and retrieved it. repaired the broken parts. and finished it up The rear end is real fidley. But I think you got this one handled. I painted teh frame black

Ala Kart a la carte: Part ONE, Compare and Contrast
Lanny Haas replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Here is one I built using both the new and the old kit. combined the nose hood and cowl of the old with the new kit, (the latest version that is). I used to see the car after the fire rebuild here on phoenix when AMT owned it and had a shop here. than a goodyear tire shop bought it and used it for advertising in front of his shop. It was later found in pretty sad shape and restored to its current condition. Looking forward incorporating your ideas in my own rebuild. -
Great job staying with this! Did you consider making it a Olds panel, grafting the olds front to the Chevy panel? wonder if they even made one?..Now the wheels are truning in my head...Humm
