Very nice, the weathering tells a story without being heavy handed.
  2. Very nice start. Chopping that kit is no easy feat as most of them are a bit warped. What is the plan for an engine?
  3. So we are getting ready to move and my entire model room is in boxes. It is a strange feeling knowing that I can't build anything. But I can still buy kits for the never ending pile. Any one else ever run into this situation? How did you deal with it? Fred
  4. Very nice builds. Now you just need to build a Post-Coupe car to have the trifecta
  5. I have this kit as well but have been holding off starting it. I'm really interested to see how the PE set works out.
  6. But are the exhaust ports tapped for the correct bolts? Running for cover
  7. Once saw a guy driving around in the French Alps in a type 35. Beautiful sound it made.
  8. Very cool. Front wheels could come forward somewhat
  9. very nice start, can't wait to see more.
  10. It was my first GSL, I had a great time. I'll be back and this time bring a model or 2 with me.
  11. Very clean build
  12. Great wide-track, way to go
  13. Loved my first gen VW GTI...can't wait to see this completed
  14. Beautiful build and great color
  15. Very nice and very cool project. But we need more pictures.
  16. Very nice build, clean simple and perfectly executed.
  17. Very nice build and beautiful finish. Yes Norm has a different set of wheels and tires but be aware that the tires are all different sizes as one would set up a car with offset sizes for dirt tracks. Fred
  18. Very nicely done
  19. It is all about the stance. Great work.
  20. Great job. Very nice and clean build.
  21. The roadster is coming along. At this point the body, chassis and wheels have arrived and have been mocked up. We are still working out a bunch of detail. One thing that we are working on is a one-off intake. I'm designing an log intake that looks like it came out of a '50's speed shop. And on top 2 Weber IDF 40 carbs mounted in-line. If we can make it work it will be very cool.
  22. Hey Tom, Great to see that you have joined us here. Any new secret project in the works? Fred
  23. I really like how the weathering is subtle but still implies a story
  24. This has a very bad ass attitude, nicely done.
