I would just like some pointers on the paint work, and how its done. Done some two tone paint jobs, which worked out good. I just bought some H O C's paint for my 68 Road Runner, never did this kind of paint before. So I been watching what you have to say and any other pointers that I get on that type of paint.

Like the blue Pontiac with the black panels on the top, side, trunk, hood. And how you did the brown Mercury with the different gold & brown colors on it.

Moparfarmer, I hate to correct you the the first restrictor was in 1966 on the Hemi so the Fords could stay with them. Remember Chrysler dropped out of Nascar in 1965 in protest of Nascars new rule that made Chrysler run the Hemi only in a C-body car. Along with Chrysler pull out, they took Richard Petty out and had him in Drag Racing. That almost put Nascar under in 1965. Remember that the Hemi was 20 mph faster then the Fords in 1964, So Nascar wanted to stop that in 1965. Never figured they would pull out. After that Nascar tryed to stop Chrysler in everyway they could, Like out lawing the Daytona/Superbird in 1971, outlawing the dual over head cam Hemi ( report at 1000 hp in 1966). To this day Nascar keeps a thumb on Dodge.

I'm also working on a 68 road runner. just ordered out the K. Marks decals(hope it don't take long to get back. Just bought some balck gold orange & silver, with a white and black interior. Also bought some detail items.

Smokey was knowen as the the biggest cheat in NASCAR. GM was only know for it small blocks, Chevy big Blocks were knowen for blowning up in NASCAR. Very few in line-up in the 60's, couldn't make the 500 miles. Thats why NASCAR went to small blocks, Chevy could get into the races and to cut the speeds. At the time Chrysler had a Hemi ready to go in 1966 with 1000 hp.

How untrue, I came across two places in Milwaukee, WI. One place has a 1/32 race track. The other place has 3 HO race tracks, 2 1/32 reace tracks and one drag racing track.
