  1. And I worry about hitting a deer at night here in Wisconsin at night? I've been close enough to reach out and touch some of them(deer), and can't even think about a bear!!!!!!!!!!.
  2. !960's,70's and 80's Dodge Pick-up trucks 1960's and early 70's Plymouth Fury's 1960's - 70's AMC 1970's Charger's & Magnum's 1960's and 70's Dodge Monaco, Polara's and Coronet's. 1950's, 1960's and 1970's Mopar Squad cars.
  3. I do belive the 318 CID with dual 4 bbl carbs(290 HP) was available in the whole plymouth line. As for the 350 CID single 4 bbl (305 HP)was also available in the whole line. My dad had 1958 Belvedere with a 318 CID w/single 4 bbl. The car was pretty fast in its day, didn't like the two tone green that it was painted. Dad had it repainted 1960 Plymouth robin egg blue with white top and side spire in about 1964.I hate to see it go in 1967(sold it $50.00). Dad worked for Chrysler then and bought a factory car(1965 Plymouth Sport Fury lite blue with blue interior(426W w/auto). Got my licsences in that car 16 yrs of age, made me stop driving it two weeks later after burning the rear tire off it.
  4. Wow; That was my grandfathers car(orange & white) back in the late 50's & early 60's. As a little kid my grandfather would come and take me to school & pick me up. This is going to be an interest to me to see the build!
  5. I see those have been reissued, I will have to get one. Looks like it has a Pontiac(GM) motor in it. I would change that out for a Mopar slant 6 that I have, maybe an Mopar Big Block Mopar(440 cid). That little 4 banger looks to small?
  6. Wow, we should get a model car club going in the Dodge County/Washington County area. any one interested? That would better then driving up to Oshkosh or Milwaukee area.
  7. If you click on your link, its there you just have to go til you get to the 1/24 scale model car kits. I'm going to wait to get the 1/24 scale 1949 Mercury "Woody" wagon. Thats going to be one cool build. Boy with all the model car companys releasing all these kits new/old one I'm in 7th heaven! Wish they would go and redo the old JoHan kits.
  8. If he wants to sell any and you don't want them let me know?
  9. Well I would By the old Chrysler plant and make an auto restortion shop out of it. Second I would buy the old Home Depot store for the cars that I restore(all Mopar's). Pay off all my bills and live life to its fullest.
  10. Wow, Built that 53 Ford pick-up 35 plus years ago. Like to see all these old model car kits being reissued. Doesn't do anything for for my model car collection from the 60'S, 70'S. and some 80'S.
  11. Anyone got any help with my Hot Wheels, Need help in restoring this 67 Plymouth Fire Chief car.
  12. I just got my hands on a 67 Plymouth Fire Chief's car. Red stripped wheels. How do I go about restoring this car. needs paint.
  13. Hi, I live in Fox Lake
  14. well its has te wrong valve cover for a 396CID engine? Dislike the exhaust system molded into the chassis.
  15. Now thats one way to get rid of them slow Fords, and buy 7 of the new Dodge Charger squad cars. (lol)
  16. No, push botton shift was used on the race cars. None of the race cars had a floor shift as it had to be factory stock(as ordered). Never offered a floor shift car in the lower class cars.
  17. Correct; column was not available til 1965 on Mopar til 1965 because of federal law. The automatic shift on the floor was only on the top of the line car in each devision in Plymouth, Dodge and Chrysler. As we know the Ramcharger was based on the low line(lite weight) Plymouth Savoy.
  18. Oh, yes and the 4-speed on the floor.
  19. Yes; up-til 1964 all mopars had the push-botton shift on the left side of the dash. If you ordered the 64 Plymouth Sport Fury, Dodge Polara 500 and the Chrysler 300 it had the consel shift automatic on the floor with bucket seats.
  20. I've two of them bought them back in the late 70's .
  21. Very nice. I have a collection dateing back to the 60's(all mopar) Some built and a lot still in the box.
  22. That would be great as most of the pin striping tape I have used just don't look right on a model(to thick). Where do you get the tape atlist an adress to go tio!
  23. Thats cool, I still have the original kit.
  24. real nice car
  25. I for one liked it the first time I seen it. All Mopar, no chevy or ford engines. No custom Chevy or Ford, seen to many of them, Something new something fresh. Need more of these to come around, real and or models.
