  15. Very good work, but not everone is in too Ferraris. I for one is into American made cars. The Ferriaris are was to much to start with, like the Lambo's. Don't get to much excetted about that kind of car and couldn't less what they cost. More into the Woodies of the 40's and 50's hand made, and then the muscle cars of the 50's 60's and 70's some hand made. I think its all to your own taste as to what cars are great.
  16. I wonder what it looked like. I mean that about 8 - 10 yrs ago they did find the orginall Chrysler 300 raced By Carl's Murcury race team stored in the back of the Murcury Team Racing Shop (Boats) just north of Fond Du Lac Wi. Now that would be great if there was pictures of the car as it was pulled out of storage.after all them years of setting there. And how was it found and who know it was there. I know it was found there and that the party that found it purchased it to be restored. That all I know about the Chrysler 300 race car found here in Wisconsin. Also nice weathering on your model
  17. Almost bought one about 15 years ago, too bad the front suspendtion was rusted through the front inner fenders. So I passed on it If you check Daytona speed week at Daytona in 1957. The 1957 Plymouth Fury (301 cid 2 4 barrel carb 290 HP) and the 1957 Chjrysler 300 D (392 cid 2 4 barrel carb made 390 harset
  18. We should have an area on this site that you can go to to list/ see what model car events are going on. Some times whan I get a chance to see what is going on, its to late to go. We should have like a calender of events to go to to see what is going on for that month.
  19. I've seen that stuff ( The Detailer) at a Hobby store in Milwaukee, but would you use the other colors for?
  20. I think the Richard Petty car was #43, nice build. wrong number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I think that the Javlin from them years are cool, don't like what that guy did to his. But to each there own.
  22. I like the 50's and 60's cars. Wish they made a lots of different makes of cars from that time zone! Fords Mopars, Studs, GM's Nash and more........................................
  23. I see the NNL is on April 13, were is that being held?
  24. Petty kept 66 body in 67 as rear quarters were more flucher then the 67. I don't understand need for the 66 Fury as the Fury was a full size C body, while the Satillite was a mid size B body.
  25. Well years ago, thats what I did. I would go down to the gas station and fill my portable air tank to 150 psi, take it home and paint my model with the regulator set at 40 psi. At the time it worked great, useing testors paint to paint my models. Now days useing automotive paints, I would probily have to make a couple of trips.
