  1. Always wanted my own Hobby Shop now I have one. It comes with these neat inside graphics. Well what did you expect.
  2. Like all things new change needs time to adapt. I got the new version also again, and was able to surf through it fairly easily. If I CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN.
  3. In my profession it's not the years but the miles. Logged 4 mil. with out a chargeable offense. Nice thing though is I just picked up one of the new trucks we get this year. Back a few years ago my daughter, and her boyfriend decided to move from a 3rd floor apt. I told them I would load the track but they had to bring it all down. Well turns out I ran circles around the two of them, hauling it down, and loading. They were both 21 at the time. Currently got a-fib, and my knees let me know how much I played football back in HS. I think the topper was when one night we went out to eat, and I got the senior discount before I was old enough to. My daughter just about loaded her pants she was laughing so hard.
  4. Made some new exhaust dumps from some brass. We didn't run generators, or alternators back then so I removed the kit belt, and made a new one from strip stock. Added a torque chain, and got most of the plumbing done. Here's a couple of pics for the fun of it. I see I am going to have to open the hood for air cleaner clearance.
  5. Got the mud screens on today. Radiator Screen Also had to redo the headers. Old New Battery box.
  6. Jim How about "Memories". Another idea to throw your way would be to repaint the father in color, then add the grandpa figure you showed earlier in the main colors. Make it look like the dad's dad is looking on from beyond, and giving his approval. Just a thought for you to ponder.
  7. Got the seat in today along with all of the various cables, and lines. I built a battery box, but the paint is still drying on that yet. Seat belts were made from duct tape, and the padding for the rollbars is wiring insulation. The shifter boot is from a rubber fishing lure. The box in the middle contains the starter switches, and the fuel shut off.
  8. Yeah I thought of the name after I posted it. Hey I was out with the Captain last night.
  9. I just received a new build job of a VINTAGE mint in the box kit. This kit was still sealed when I got it. Only one part had fallen off the parts tree. The customer wants a stock version of it, like he had . Just letting you know these old kits are still out there.
  10. Update on this build, I had issues with soime bubbles in the paint so decided to make it look like a project in use. I sanded out the bubbles, and primered the spots. I did this is his daily driver/ on going project, so he needs it day to day. Also someone mentioned no fenders on the trailer, so I made some from sheet aluminum.
  11. Got some paint on them today, here it is with the first coat of paint. I see I have some bubbles to take care of. And the stocker. Paint is Tamiya Green Metallic, and Lavender. Now I have to do the frame, and cage painting yet, then assemble it all.
  12. Trailer or dirt tracker? I just added this one today for another dirt build.
  13. The trailer is done. Got the bed floor in, and added bolt head detail. Safety chains from necklace chain and a couple of fish hooks. Final pic all I need is a license plate for it. I stained the bed to represent leaking fluids, and used a little powder also. Now to get the tow vehicle ready.
  14. Well got a bit more done today, as the roads were lousy for driving on. Here are the front hood pins. Then made headers for it. They still need some tweaking yet. Also the body is in the paint booth getting primer. I didn't like the first trailer hitch I made, so took it off. It was too close, and the clearance wasn't right. Old. New. This way the trailer will clear the bumper. Speaking of which both the body for this one, and the trailer are in the paint booth. The trailer is painted, the Nomad is in first coat of primer.
  15. Here are some pics of my stash. Some of the unbuilt ones. These are built waiting for paint, and accessories.Left hand side in the plastic shoe boxes.
  16. Buncha brain dead morons. I had my truck broke into one time. They took some clothes, and left all of my music, not that it did any good, as they took the stereo also.
  17. Why was it missing? :D I went to fight one time, and a Hockey Game broke out.
  18. Lovin it. Al;thought the moons with steelies would look good too. Just notice in the last pic your side pipe is missing.
  19. The trailer is done ready for paint shop. And here is the tow vehicle. This is being built as a CBP on another forum. Daily Drivers, not to shiny, or rusty. I removed all of the badges, and also the one pillar to give it a semi Kustom look. Kind-of a project in progress type of vehicle.
