  2. Have to have someplace to relax and watch TV when not on duty, so I made some couches, and easy chairs.
  3. Finally got back to this one again.Side Door is for the Para medics. This is a Matchbox vehicle close to scale. Added a bush to cover a area that was lacking.I see that I have a bit of touch up to do yet. Looks like a call out is in progress also. ] Got the office manned also.
  4. Here is my latest build . All sorts of possibilities where this could be used.
  5. Yeah Harry he died on the set of the Twilight Zone Movie. The helicopter malfuntioned, and took him out. Another oldie was Sea Hunt with loyd Bridges. Played mike Nelson, a scuba diver.

  10. I got nothing fancy just a plain old cardboard box. I just re-inforced it with some 2x2's as the top was falling in. Also added more light to the area. ]
  11. I like this one alot. Have you considered using micro Machines for RC cars?
  12. Sam great work on your dio. I saved your pics of the crimping tool for reference, and such, great idea. Also for anyone who wants to saw dust grass another way is o mix the saw dust in a container of water, and add food coloring dye to it. let the saw dry, and you have colored grass.
  13. I remember seeing these pics back then. This is what got me interested in diorama building.

  16. Agreed. Here is what is left of the one that hit the wall literally. Boyd's Aluma Coupe. Used the wheels on this Riv.

  19. If you do decide to use real dirt here's a tip for you. BAKE IT first. By this I mean get a old pan cake pan, or a cheap aluminum roaster pan, and put your dirt in it. Put it in the oven at 325 degrees for 1/2 hour, then remove, and let it cool. This will kill off anything nasty hiding in it. Also do this with sand. After its cooled run it through a sieve/ strainer to get the bigger pieces out.If you have a dollar store or the equivalent of such, just buy a cheap one. Put the contents into a container, and mark it as fine, coarse or what ever size it is. Another thing you can do is find a old blender to chop up leaves to make clutter for the ground. A real old trick to making grass is to dye saw dust. Put it into a container, add water, and food coloring dye, mix well then let the water evaporate. You can also control the color by how much coloring agent you use. When dry once again sift it out, and store it in a container. To adhere it, use a diluted white glue. You want this the consistency of skim milk, mix it about 50/59 glue to water, and apply to a small section at a time. If you need more help you can PM me or e-mail me. At the link is a tutorial on adding weeds. http://s8.photobucket.com/user/mercman51/library/Tutorials/Weeds?sort=3&page=1
  20. Adding some more details. The office is taking shape. Started on kitchen stuff, table, and a fridge. Also needed a TV for relaxation time. Anyone know what's playing? And finally in case a call comes in the turnout gear locker.
  21. Michael's is having a sale. These were 6 for a $1.00. I got them for wallparer, flooring, and the striped ones will make good awnings.
  22. Ken Hamilton did it in 1/48th scale.
  23. Put some safety guards around where the poles are. I cut down a cigar tube that I found. ( the orange pieces) Also shown will be some stuff for the rec room. Pool table jukebox, and a proto type for a weight set.
