I do 1/87th, but when the mood strikes 1/24-1/25th.

Yeah warmed up here to in Fargo. So warm in fact we got 11 inches of new snow since Sun. with more for Wed-Thur. Some parts got up to 17 inches.

Every year I make the trip to NNL North in Mpls. Mn., 240 miles. Someday I hope to make Toledo, and the GSL.

When I was doing cars I would go to the library and photocopy pages from the repair manuals for different engines for firing orders. I put these into a folder, along with other articles I thought that would come in handy. Now that I do mainly diorama buildings it depends on how detailed I want to do the interior of a building. Most dont come with any interior, just the basic bilding outside, so depends, on how much I want to go. Got the inventory in place, placed a couple of other pieces. The wood thing will be the checkout counter still a WIP yet. Also plans call for stools, and some detailing over at the workstation. I see also I am going to have to add some lighting to it. With the roof in plce it's kind-of dark.

Tonight I got the sign framed. Added outlets to the work station area. And a couple of building shots. Have to add the glass, and the doors yet.

Got some of the interior signage done. Also started to add some stock, and shelves. The red, and gray bench will be the pit area for working on the cars. Have to add some electrical outlets yet to it. Finally a start on the sign for the shop. Needs to be framed out yet.

Charlie you'll love this then. Case is stocked, and track is busy.

Many years ago the local K-Mart store was selling those Pocher kits for $29.95. Also back in the day a local toy store had floor to cieling Revell double kits for $0.50 ea. Hindsight being 20/20 wish I knew then what I know now. The 60 Ford Sunliner I just built for a client he paid $165.00 for. But it was mint sealed.

Charlie, and any one else, if you do get the HO one, to convert it to 1/25th 1 inch eqauls 7 ft. 3 in's. in HO scale. Just measure it and scale up.

Nice to see what I'll be getting into. I am still waiting for mine to arrive.

Well the drag strip is built, and 2 guys are just itching to try it out. Also got the other track painted. Now its time to start detailing the interior.

Found some pics on the web for interior shots. Also got the dragstrip built, ( no pics of it yet). The bottom panorama pic I will be cutting down to use only parts of it.

Pretty much have the new building done. Just have to do the doors. Here are a couple of pics of it. Here you can see the track has more room, and will be adding a drag strip in the back. Now it will be time to design the interior for it.

Nope I dont have either. I did modify the kit as you see to act a s a tow vehicle. Other than that it was unbuilt when I got it in a bag.

Yeah I forgot about the van, I have one somewhere. Also a 32 Ford Model B pick up. There was also a Vega. I have a few of the Ford COE's with trailers.

Monogram also had a deal where you sent in the the title page of a instruction sheet, and they would send you a free kit. I think I ended up with 12 Bronco kits. Used them for community Christmas presents.

Those are the ones. I have these built.

That crackle paint is some great stuff. Gives a real nice effect. Great job so far, looking forward to more progress pics.
