Yes they do. The cars will be the stars. The ones pictured above though do not. This were just for the mock-up. One of the mock-up cars is a FC from HW's. When you see the cars, you will know.

Wanted to give it the appearance of a hill. Like you have just come off a flat stretch of pavement, and can't see what is ahead.

This is some of the things I scored this weekend. Got this one for 2 bucks. Also added these 3 rigs. This one is absolutely gorgeous. 39 Peterbilt for the tractor. Plus a couple of more building kits. Got these on the auction at the benefit. Half a gas tank. The guy buys these, and restores them and uses them for pin-striping practice, along with the plexiglass pieces.

Here is the start of my newest creation. This one will using 1/64th scale cars. Start of the base. Base is ready. Foamed, have to carve it to shape now, then do the roadway. Overall dimensions are 5.5X16X6.

The winning bid was $110.00. Not to bad for a kit I paid a $1.00 for on a raffle. People were amazed at the detail, and how it looked. Even some real Harley Riders made comments on how it looked.

I got a couple. Original issue of the AMT kit. 56 Ford parts box special. Original issue of the Gas Rhonda, bui;t in 1970. First model contest winner for me. Johan Maverick And finall a 1/87th creation I'm working on.

SMS had 8 50 Olds kits on Sat. in stock.

Here are some of the things I picked up this weekend. 53 Caddy, Crown Vic Police Car, 64 1/2 Mustang. Monogram Exacts. Semi Tractor and 12 trailers, 4 of each pictured.Time to repaint. 3 Ford Pickups, and some generic cars. Corrugated sheet plastic. Now I have the fenceing for Reaper Kustoms, for the side yard. 3 Pieces of track to use for making roads. And finally another reference book. Not shown are some decals, and other misc items.

SMS had 8 more so 50 Olds kits when I there on Sat. I managed to score the XKE from Monogram that I need for my DMC dio.

Thanks Tony, but the song says a XKE, so that's what it'll be.

Many off you know that I do a model for the Vet's club here every year. The guy who built last years model did this years also. Here are the pics of the model to be auctioned off this year

You might think so, I have a race track dio I did, the is 2x4 foot.

Must just be what they wanted to do. I don't know of any particular color of the cars. The Jag pictured will be replaced with the corect car a XKE, and drivers added to them.

Sounds like my wife. She'll sit in the car and wait for 20-30 min's. then she comes in to see what I'm getting. Which is good, as she pays for it, ( the purchase that is). I also venture back to the slot car area to see what's going on. I like their used area also.

Man if I had that much when I was 16 I could have bought 40 kits back then. Yeah I'm OLD. Get the Olds, and maybe another you really want, tools, paint, and glue are always good investments. HAPPY BIRTHDAY also.

Think I got the base done, now just have to find a XKE, and a couple of drivers. This is still the mock-up using the Jag 120.
