  1. Thanks! I probably spent more time making the fuel lines and exhaust tips than I did on the rest of the car!
  2. I can't believe it. The second windshield also cracked! Is it the two part epoxy or the fact that the plastic is almost 50 years old? I don't even think that I can remove this one. It's held in with a lot of epoxy. Makes me sick. This will probably be the end of this project.
  3. I believe that I had mentioned that earlier. They had evenly spaced exhaust ports for a Hemi, but they never fit correctly. I had to savage these to make them work.
  4. Ooooooh nice!
  5. Got the body painted and the front and rear moldings foiled. I installed the rear glass and side windows but when I installed the front glass I found that it had cracked badly in two spots after the glue dried. ??? That never happened before. Luckily, I have one windshield left.
  6. Just heard the other day that K.C. Jones lost both of those cars to a trailer fire and will most likely retire. He always put on a great show. WF
  7. Looks like it's coming along quite well. One suggestion....find a lead to the starter that has about a 50 percent smaller diameter. That one is WAY too large.
  8. This was one of those winter doldrums projects that was to be a "quick and easy" , o.o.b., slump buster. It wound up taking more time than I thought it would. Of course! It
  9. I saw the 1:1 in New Jersey last summer. You really did it justice. Fantastic job! WF
  10. I know, I know. I posted already but I had to come back and check it out again! WF
  11. A lot of folks throw compliments at just about any car posted here but this car absolutely deserves all of them! Gorgeous! WF
  12. I love that! Terrific!
  13. That color looks really nice on that body! Maybe some white in the cove on the side?
  14. I think that I might "ugly up" the headers a bit with some rust. Getting close to painting the body ( I always do that part last). It's gonna be Italian Red but I'm thinking about putting white stripes on the roof. What do you think? WF
  15. Beautiful model! Outstanding craftsmanship! Truly museum quality. WF
  16. I always had difficulty picking out those molded in wiring harness'. Can never make a clean line with paint. What I did here was to carve them off and replace them with real wire. I drilled some holes behind the thicker black wire so it gives the appearance that the colored wire is coming out of the black harness! Used white wire to replicate the plastic hold downs.
  17. Got a little done. Turned the Hemi headers into wedge headers. Looks weird with the real long pipes but it sorta works. Air cleaners need some touch up too.
  18. Beautiful bird!
  19. Very, very nice! What is the source of the 6 pack carbs ?
  20. I think that I see Studebaker DNA in that Anglia.
  21. If that's the body you are using, it's not an Anglia, it;s a Studebaker.
  22. One of my all time favorites kits.Terrific job! I love it! WF
  23. Very well done, especially the engine compatment!
  24. Absolutely fantastic! Just don't turn it over again I love those Johan bodies! The AMTs look like 13 year old designed them. WF
  25. On mine, the front wheels were almost touching the fenders, so I trimmed the wheel opening a bit. Good thing I checked before I painted. WF
