  1. It will have an early Hemi
  2. Sometimes you just look at a part or parts and think "I can make something out of that!" That's pretty much what happened here. Resin body of unknown origin, some cool mags, a chassis and some engine parts. First mock up
  3. Paintwork is terrific!
  4. Thanks for all the comments! I guess I’ll post more often.?
  5. Frame connectors and ladder bars were copied from the photos
  6. I was not uncommon for Mopar racers to deepen the oil pan and install a tie rod tube. Sox & Martin sold them over the counter. I had a magazine article on this car and I copied the oil pan and rear suspension. The article stated that the car used a Ford toploader transmission. That's a Ford transmission in there!
  7. I did actually move the axles forward a bit! check how close the front tires are to the fender edge in the oil pan picture. Rear tires are just about touching the rear 1/4 panel. It wasn't easy figuring out 2% in 1/25 scale! ?
  8. I agree. The wheels make it stand out in a crowd!
  9. Best rendition of this kit that I have seen so far! Very nice.
  10. One of my favorite builds. A photo etch grille and some Fred Cady decals add to the realism.
  11. Keep in mind for future builds that tinted windows were only allowed on side and rear glass. Regulations required that windshields be clear or factory tinted glass only.
  12. Cut the roof off and make it a roadster! Kind of like a Melrose Missile or a Jack Christman deal.
  13. Thanks! You are either very old or you know how to google! lol
  14. Nice and clean. Well detailed too!
  15. This build is from back in the day when if you wanted an altered wheelbase car you had to do it yourself. lol Just a fun product of my imagination. A low budget match racer from around 1966. Extra points if you can figure out where I got the "Mr Big Stuff" name from. WF
  16. The decals look great. Nice looking model!
  17. You are correct in that there were no factory built 1969 Hemi barracudas or darts. NHRA did frown on updating sheetmetal and body parts at that time. When Pro Stock debuted in 1970 you may have seen a couple of LO 23 or B0 29 cars dressed in '69 sheetmetal. You could still run a '68 car in SS/B or SS/BA in 1969
  18. Superb!
  19. Good job on a classic kit. That one was always hard to make it look "right".
  20. Excellent detail work! Especially like the fuel lines! WF
  21. If you want to get really technical it's not a Pro Mod either. It's a an Altered!! Very cool looking Altered! lol
  22. Some people get VERY defensive and offended when comments and suggestions are offered. That's what these threads are for! When you post, you open yourself up to positive and negative critique. Most people understand this, some don't. If you don't like the suggestions, you can simply ignore them and do as you like! WF
  23. I am loving the heck out of this!
  24. Those headers look like a good fit. I would recommend cutting the modern tapered collectors off and replacing them with a straight tube (drinking straw?). The 12 spoke front wheels will look good on that car. WF
