Nice! FHP is one of my favorite state agencies... Jeff

I hope the 70' Charger has the normal R/T wheels or the Rally ones, not what they have shown on the flyer... Jeff

I have the exact same promo in the B5 blue color with a few broken parts. This will help, looks great! Jeff

What paint did you use for the FHP yellow? Looks spot on! Jeff

Very nice Chris! My uncle is retired CPD and when I was little I remember sitting in his squads and messing with all the lights. I guess it had some effect on me... I've been doing it for 20 years myself now... Jeff

Squadron Putty ?
jefropas replied to D. Battista's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Tamiya has been my choice for a few years now, the squadron stuff is pretty much junk, there are a few others from Japan that are excellent. I believe they are Mr. Surfacer brand. Jeff -
Would anyone want to see 70 Charger pics?
jefropas replied to mod3l Lover's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I bought it, but am waiting for the stock kit, then I'll probably buy 6-10... Jeff -

Nice so far, it was a toss up in 83' between this and the Camaro...too bad the Chevy won because I've been a Pontiac guy since... Jeff -
Again Chris, very cool!! Jeff

I really like it! Jeff

I just remember everyone getting the seats stolen because of the speakers in the headrest...my fav. was the last year GT...those looked great! Jeff

Chris, I know how you feel, this being our profession tends to skew what you build alot. Looks like a cool project. I saw those decals on Ebay someplace. That website for MNSP cars really makes me want to build one, oneday...will be watching this one! Jeff

Mike, Check out www.sspmustang.org, not much modeling on there, but lotsa other stuff to help with a MSP pony. They bought 2 batches, 89 and 92', there were subtle differences between the years. The only thing that would be hard(er) to find will be the hood sign. Let me know when you start, I build mostly police cars as well, must be our profession... Jeff

Looks great Chris! The only things it's missing are the passenger side spotlight and LED's on the pushbumper. (my pic) Jeff

1978 Dodge Monaco Gotham City PD (Photos Restored)
jefropas replied to David G.'s topic in Model Cars
Nice build! I usually cut the lip off the AMT wheel, cut a ring out, then replace the lip. Put it on one of the old Monogram tires we all have a million of, fits perfect, and looks better. That and the chassis gap you fixed are my biggest pet peeves with the kit. The Monaco looks best in black and white, and you nailed it... Jeff -
Looks great! I'd love a 73 Fury or Polara kit. A Polara was my uncles first squad on CPD back in the day...Mine was a 95" LT1 Caprice...how cars changed... Jeff

Love the build! Wish it were a true story. Of course, so many unique law enforcement stories sound just the same as yours. Many times they come to fruition too. Can't wait to see the next project! Jeff

Very nice! Wish I was driving it on patrol rather than my Ford Exploder! Jeff
