The problematic side pipes are installed. Pretty happy with the results . Have to add some black inside the exhaust pipe but they are ok. Roll bar next

Well had to relocate the holes to mount the side pipes. I just wonder how come they are soo far off. Thank you for the heads up! Should have known, always something on a mfh kit. I’m going for more punishment as I’m doing a Porsche 917/30 mfh kit. My friend Mark bought me a Moby Dick Porsche mfh kit. I believe he likes to watch me suffer.

Just painted the side pipes. Going white. They are three pieces. Glued and putty to make it look like one.

This car is too cool. I have to copy this car on the rollbar and side pipe colors. It’s just brutal and raw.

Well trying to fit these side pipes. They are very bad. The right side is a 1/4 inch off on the mounting point. The left is only off 1/16 . I do not know how these could be so far off. Filling the old mounting points and redrilling new points. Still cannot make up my mind on the colors of the rollbar and side pipes.

Thank you Dann. Ok Mark, here we go on the side pipe installation. I’m going to ( after fitting) fill the side pipe sections with some putty to make them look like they are all welded together as one piece. Having a problem deciding what to finish them. Just saw Jay Leno’s garage and he had a black 427 cobra he was test driving. Not a kit but a real 427. Had white side pipes with a gloss black roll bar. I guess I have seen so many kits I forgot what a real one looked like.( Not that kits are bad, they are sometimes better than a original.) But a real one was neat to see. Sooo my problem is deciding what to finish my roll bar and side pipes. My buddy Mark Adams wants polished finish on both. I might go Jay Leno’s garage with gloss black rollbar and white side pipes. It sure looked great.

Fitting seats, rollbar, side pipes. That’s why no seat belts yet. Roll bar still it a little high. And the side pipes! Holy cow ! Are way off.

Sir , this kit is you! And thank you.

Thank you Nazdrave. I will keep you updated on the side pipe situation. Just put the oil lines in the front of the cooler. Starting to come together.

Body is on the frame. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Still needs things. Fitting windshield, rollbar( I noticed it’s too high) , seats,.side pipes etc. On a downhill run now. Not getting in a hurry now. This is where mistakes can ruin a build.

Hello Chris! Thank you for Arts info. Going to need some stuff from him soon. Well polished and waxed the body. Front oil cooler and front vents next. Getting close.

Hello Art, Happy Easter! Can you send me your business email address? I need some things. Have not shopped for anything since the pandemic. Thank you. Bruce

Thank you Chris. Dashboard and steering wheel installed. I’m not very happy with the wheel but it’s ok. Getting down the main straightaway. Going to add the shields and stuff to the body, then rebuff and wax the body. Side pipes, seats and a few other things. This still will take a few weeks. Getting close

Hello Bill!!! Happy Easter! You need to get the mfh kit. It’s a handful but so rewarding when you do it. Is a lot easier than my Ferrari P4. The mfh Porsche 917/30 is going to really be a handful for me. The wheels alone on that kit was insane. Your Agora cobra is looking great!

Beautiful job! This car seems to slip thru the cracks for Porsche fans. It is a really cool car . I have a gold box version. Even tried to trade it here but no interest. Glad I did not trade it. Will go great with the future Porsche builds. I will be watching and learning. -
Had to put the gauges together. You had to put the photoetch needle in the gauge. It was decal, needle then glass. The gauge bezels are machined aluminum. The steering wheel is next. Have to paint the wood part of the wheel. The pe steering wheel part you have to bend for a dish. The nine rivets are going to be fun. There is 17 parts for the steering wheel. Anyway I hope it turns out.

Beautiful I love this car and build!

The front tubes are installed. Wiring installed. Dash board next. This is a very rewarding build. Ray you need to do this! It’s very complex but when you sit back and look at it, makes you feel like your part of Shelby American
