  1. Packs 7,8,9 and 10 came today. Will update this weekend.
  2. Hey Chris. This is all I have done on my Porsche. Part of the engine and tires and wheels. Tubes make me nervous. What’s the name of that therapist?
  3. Bill the cobra is stunning.
  4. Thank you slimguy . Thank you doorsovdoon
  5. Thank you PappyD340
  6. Bill. Sorry about your bank account but I really knew you were interested in the Jaguar. Looks really good. I might have to pull the trigger on that one. Yes and the cobra is really good also.
  7. Thank you Bill. The KR convertible would be great! I’ll have Mark put a word in. Agora is comming out with a 61 Jaguar XKE convertible. Check it out.
  8. I love this car
  9. Thank you vamach1. Thank you Deuces ll. Thank you Dinky.
  10. P.S. If you get this kit, there are the regular Goodyear’s with wheels. And a book. When I receive these things I will post them. I will put the wider tires and wheels on. I will also post the book.
  11. Agora Shelby Super Snake 1/8 scale. Built it out of box( boxes). Only thing I did was paint the door jambs white. Bill (Mr. Obsessive ) , these are very cool. Thank you for the door help. They were not so bad after its assembled. Took your advice and left them alone. Very, very fun kit to build. It’s huge and very heavy. I did have to repaint the roof stripes. Since it’s very heavy I did not put it on a soft surface. So all my fault. The instructions say to put the body on a very smooth surface but I did not listen. The model is a stunner when finished. If your into Shelbys, this is your kit.
  12. The super snake is finished!
  13. Thank you as I’m taking your advice. Leaving them alone. I did make a mistake on scratching the roof stripes. They are fragile. So I repainted them. Pack 12 is on its way . So I’ll be rapping this up next week. This is great fun and thanks for the heads up on the mustang.
  14. Thank you sir
  15. Bill thank you for all the information on your build. I did not realize but the supersnake is going to come with another set of tires . Look like the tires and wheels on your car. So after looking on how you did your wheels and tires, well I guess I’m in for a little work. But at least I now know how to attack it. Thank you
  16. Hello Mr Obsessive, I would like to run this by you for a second opinion. The door alignment looks like the a pillar needs work. But I noticed , what if you took the door back apart and cut the window out, to make it look like the window is rolled down? The glass seems to throw the door out of Alighment. There is the wing window you have to leave but it would be a lot less pressure than the whole window. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  17. Thank you sir! Your Shelby looks fantastic!!!!! Where can I get a set of 1/8 American torque thrusts and poly glass tires? I would like to switch them around with the thunderbolt tires.
  18. The dimensions on this model are pretty good. For some reason, model companies cannot get a mustang front end to look right. But this one does look very nice. The grill looks real and the lights will work.
  19. Hello Mark
  20. Hello Nazdrave, I put the original 289 in my garage and the engine in the picture is a 351 Windsor bored and stroked to 418 cubic inches. My friend , Larry Paulsen built the engine. Has dodge rods, Chevy 202 valves. And all different kinds of machine work. Dyno is 450 ft lbs at 420 hp. I went to laguna seca with that car and kept up with 427 cobras . ( I vintage raced this car)Could not pass them but kept right with them. That’s when they looked at the engine and I was not permitted to run. But it sure was fun for the first part of the day.
  21. Hello Nazdrave. Here is a pic of a Shelby I had. Sold it 5 years ago to a bay area dentist. I took the car to the Bay Area and my left leg was wore out. 650lb clutch will do that. Had the car over 40 years. Bought it for $800. And sold it for a lot more than that.
  22. WOW !!! Looks fantastic!!!! What kind of body fitting issues to the chassis were there? Nazdrave your cobra is beautiful!!! To even get a mfh kit finished is a monumental feat! Yes the windshield is really bad. I think mfh could have come up with something better. Great job and please show more pics. I’m going to be getting back to the cobra in a little bit. The paint job on the Toyota is done, the Red Bull car is done and the super snake is just about finished. So all there is , is the ford GT and Ferrari. This cobra just gets my blood going as I wanted a real one all my life. I remember in the 80’s the 427 was $80,000. I said “way to much” When I was in high school there was a used one at a corvette dealer named Bob Shiros , that had a 427 for a outrageous price of $7000! Still the same, cannot afford it. Maybe that lottery ticket will hit ........ HA
