  12. Andrew love your build! The tires you selected is fantastic. I wish I saw this sooner. I was so mad at the kit tires that I went another direction. The suspension is changed. Narrowed the rear springs and mini tubbed the wheelhouse. I wanted a stock build but not to be. Keep up the great work!
  13. Hey Randy! How are you? I will bring this to the club meeting. Just trying to get the interior built. Have the rear speaker grills, seat belt buckles and receivers, taking the headrests off and making new ones. This last detail will set off the interior...I hope. Im going where I have never gone before. See you at the meeting.
  14. Thank you everyone. Mr. Len Woodruff, thanks for the inspiration! Saw pictures of your Daytona and fell in love with it. As a kid, I loved this car. This is nothing like your Daytona, but its a fun build. Im working on it slowly but surely. I hope you do not mind laying on your side to view my pics.
  15. Sorry for the delay. I do not know how to rotate the pics the right way. I have a mac and the pics are correct. As soon as I attach them to this forum, it goes crazy, and I never know how they are going to come out. Anyway, here are some of the pics although you might have to lay on your side to see them.

  21. Thank you for the great comments. Hey Randy how are you? To everyone out there, Randy and I are in the Reno High Rollers IPMS club. He is the historian of model cars and also a great builder. Im always learning from him. Thanks Randy and Ill see you at the Reno High Rollers contest in Sept.
  22. Some 1;1 pics of the convt top.
  23. Ok Sorry for the delay. Just received a new job at the BMW-Volvo-Mini Cooper-Porsche Dealer as a body tech.So my time is limited to school and the many repairs that need to be done. ssooo my modeling time is now very limited. Here is what I have done. installed a temporary front seatbelt just for fit. made the hole in the panel for the belt. I had to make the upper rear seatbelt pockets from scratch. Then temporary glue them in place to see the fit.My next build will be the upper rear seatbelt mounts that fit into my homemade pockets. This what I have so far. hope you like
  24. These operations are much harder than doing the bodywork. Because after this is the convt top.in the down position with a new cover over all the arms and top being exposed. after this the attention will be in the A piller section and crossover section where center lights need to be located. As i said before the body is easy.the interior is the hard one to accomplish.
