  1. A 1:8 Gullwing and a 1:8 Ferrari 250 GTO. Just painted the Ferrari . 1:8 has its own set of problems when you paint them. Painting the Ferrari was tough not to run. A lot of little pockets , vents and little spaces,
  2. Beautiful! The lost fastback! Love it. My dad was a amc fan. We had a few ambassadors. I wanted the rambler scrambler or the AMX but was not to be. Really great build. Love the colors also.
  3. Put a few more things on. Polished the body.
  4. Beautiful!
  5. Hello Bugatti Fan. Yes you’re right. Some of these big kits are off on something. The Lamborghini Muira is also a paint and fit nightmare. The price is also very very expensive. But if you like a big kit these are the only thing out there. I have completed several big kits and they all need something. This is usually where I come in to upgrade, modify and try to improve it somehow. The only kit agora did not let me modify is the Muira. But since it has been out awhile now, I’m going to take her apart and going to change the color and rework her. . If you look at the color of the Muira it is totally unacceptable. I make a pretty good living and find it hard to justify the cost. I just bought at a significant cut in price, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO and it still was a lot. There is a transkit out there from Italy and it’s very expensive. I would like it but here again , the cost. If one can , I would buy ay least one , because it would be the centerpiece of your model collection. My friends go directly to the big kits on display. Oh yes and then there is the “where in the heck do you put it ?” These kits in our modeling world are very exclusive. Not many can afford them. Reminds me of the older Ferraris, very very expensive but a Honda civic is more reliable on the street.,not many can afford them and after you own one it’s very expensive. Same with the big kits, they are expensive, but it’s the only thing out there if one can afford it. If it was not for my friend Mark, I would not have tried these big kits. I have to say the latest 1/8 from agora is the corvette. And it’s a neat kit, of course it can use improvement but that’s what modelers do is try to improve it.
  6. Did a mock up of what I had. Going to look pretty cool. The black on red really makes it.
  7. Thank you Kenmojr
  8. Thank you Moparman
  9. More pics. Not polished yet, will polish after assembly. A lot of handling for assembly.
  10. I painted the Mercedes Gullwing. Painted her in my shed in the background. Took her out for a few pics and pollen had fallen all over her. Not to worry , the paint is dry. So far she’s comming out great.
  11. Sorry for the very slow reply, but yes it is a eaglemoss kit. If you are in the middle of a build and eaglemoss did not provide you parts, agora will help with your build. The cobra 427 is a very good build. The only thing in the cobra is that you have to modify the side exhaust. I modified mine to be parallel to the body. Here is a pic of my agora cobra.
  12. Very nice! Where did those beautiful wheels come from?
